Born Once; Die Twice. Born Twice; Die Once

Copyright Warning

There is a curious paradox that is presented in the pages of the Bible that a great majority of people have not understood. Jesus described a physical birth that every person will experience; and a second spiritual birth that is necessary in order to obtain eternal life. Jesus said that because of our sin and sin nature, we are all already under the condemnation of God and dead in our sins.[1] Once we understand who Jesus is and the reason that He came into the world, we have the opportunity to be born again a second time. At that moment, our spirit within that was formerly dead, comes alive. Continue reading “Born Once; Die Twice. Born Twice; Die Once”

The Darkness at Noon During Jesus Crucifixion is Confirmed by Secular Historians

COPYRIGHT WARNING

The darkness which suddenly occurred during the time of Jesus Crucifixion in the Gospel of Matthew, is confirmed by secular sources. It is interesting that those who claim that the narrative of Jesus death and resurrection in the New Testament is a fabrication and myth–ignore the Historical records of these events. How is it that a myth could be confirmed by non-interested and hostile parties? Roman historians record a supernatural event of unknown origin–precisely occurring at noon on the day Jesus was crucified and lasting until 3 pm the same day–precisely as the New Testament Gospels describe.

“Search your writings and you shall find that in Pilates time, when Christ suffered, the sun was suddenly withdrawn and darkness followed”. –Rufinus, Greek Historian

“Now from the sixth hour (Noon) until the ninth hour (3 Pm) there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” –Matthew 27:45-46 Continue reading “The Darkness at Noon During Jesus Crucifixion is Confirmed by Secular Historians”

Atheists’ Statements of Fact–Made Without Knowledge

How is it that a person can make statements of fact, about which—they have little or no knowledge?

You asked, “Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand –Job 42:3

It is a very common tactic by atheists today, to attack the established facts of the historic Jesus—His Crucifixion and Resurrection–without any genuine knowledge of these events. Continue reading “Atheists’ Statements of Fact–Made Without Knowledge”

Empirical Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

COPYRIGHT WARNING

The Resurrection of Jesus

Today, the world is in possession of one of the most compelling and empirical pieces of evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, that has ever been discovered. Once regarded as a forgery or hoax, this ancient document has now been confirmed as authentic and bearing evidence of supernatural origin. Examined by Forensic Pathologists and some of the world’s best image analyzing equipment, the Shroud of Turin has revealed stunning evidence that this linen cloth bears the image of the Crucified Jesus Christ.

Those who have carefully examined and scrutinized the Shroud, entered their investigation as skeptics and unbelievers–concluding their studies with confirmation that this is in fact the burial shroud of the man described as “Jesus of Nazareth,” crucified in Jerusalem, during the period of time described by the writers of the New Testament. The Certainty of the Resurrection

COPYRIGHT WARNING

If Jesus did not rise from the dead, how is it that the “myth” of His resurrection has endured for over 2,000 years? Why were the first accounts of His resurrection so widely copied and distributed to the known world, if it didn’t happen? Why have over 24,000 copies of these original documents survived for 20 centuries and exist today with essentially the same text as the first letters which were written, immediately after Jesus was reported to have risen? How is it that critics of Jesus’–claim that the Gospel accounts of His Resurrection were written at too great a distance from the time they are reported to have taken place–to be credible, when today scholars know that Matthew’s Gospel was written within 28 years of the Resurrection? Why did the Christian church grow exponentially by the end of the third century–to over 56% of the world’s population, if this was all just a hoax?

These are a few of the hundreds of facts from history that are empirical and undeniable. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most fully documented event in the history of the world. There is no other event in the chronology of man that has greater evidence of its authenticity than the period of time in which Jesus of Nazareth came out of the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, three days after He was brutally Crucified.
