Returning Moral Clarity To American Life

We are confronted with a dangerous enemy. The erosion of the American family and the moral values that define us as a people and a nation have been under attack for more than 50 years. Redefining what constitutes marriage, accepting that gender is determined by personal choice, excluding the voice and choice of people who appose changes in America’s moral history. Taking God out of every resemblance of government, schools, and public offices. Degrading the United States until it no longer resembles its former visage intended by the framers of our Constitution.

This generation has no idea of the former glory of America when people really cared about their neighbors and lived together in peace. The line between morality and immorality has been eroded until its barrier is no loner detectable by young people today.

It is seldom understood why morality is so important to the survival of our nation. Only when we examine the history of the world do we discover that no nation has survived which permitted perversion to be normalized, and the sanctity of human life diminished. It’s Okay To Speak Negatively About Christians

Why is it people think that saying something negative about a Christian is okay but not about other religions? What makes Christianity such a threat to people that they exclude those who believe in Jesus from the rules of decency and respect? In an article about Presidential Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, we see a glimpses of this problem today:

“If someone says something about another faith, particularly liberals come to their defense in a raging motion, but if someone attacks a Christian, it’s perfectly fine. At some point we became a culture that said that was okay.” —Sarah Sanders

The Las Vegas Massacre: What Causes Men To Commit Mass Murder?

COPYRIGHT WARNING

We all want to know what motivated Stephen Paddock to brutally murder  59 people and gravely injure more than 527 at a Country Music Festival near the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegans, Nevada. How could any human being conceive of such brutality?

Stephen Paddock In The Philippines With Girlfriend Marilou Danley

Growing up with a father who was a criminal, absent from the home was a difficulty. Feeling anger over the way that people treated him. Being rejected, mocked, or abused in his early years. All of these are common reasons that experts look for in diagnosing later behavior problems of individuals. Whatever it was that accumulated in the mind of Stephen Paddock that will be found later as causes of his horrific acts, these are not the true reasons that men become killers. There is a deeper, spiritual dimension to all human beings that is the ultimate cause of all emotional difficulties. Science often looks to physical defects as the reason that people become mass murderers. They fail to realize that human beings are far more than just physical. We have an inner spiritual person that cannot be seen that is also affected by the things that are done to us and the decisions we make throughout our life. Signs Of The End

COPYRIGHT WARNING

What are the signs of Jesus’ return and the end of the age?

Jesus was very specific in telling us what to look for in determining the end of this present world. For the time being, God’s timeline is focused on the salvation of people. God is waiting to give time for people to find Jesus, receive Him and be saved. God’s Spirit will not always strive with us forever. He has appointed a time when His Grace will run out and the end will come. For 2,000 years we have all seen God’s Grace in action, being patient with a world that denies God, rejects Christ, and is increasingly becoming more violent and evil. The Singularity of God: His Existence and Being

COPYRIGHT WARNING

Orion_Nebula_-_Hubble_2006_mosaic_18000The argument that there is no proof for the existence of God is irrational. In fact, there is no reasonable explanation for the universe or life itself, apart from God. The question that has been rightly asked is: “Why is there a universe at all?”

Since everything that exists has an explanation for its existence, there must also be a reason that the universe exists. Since all things that are temporal have a first cause and the universe came into being at some point, then the universe has a first cause. Since it is impossible for anything to cause itself, therefore, the universe is caused by a power that is transcendent of time and space. By the complexity, balance, and design of the universe, we perceive that all things in existence were caused by an infinite intelligence—an intelligence which is without limits and is perfect, knowing all things. Only a perfect and eternal being would have the capacity to create such a universe. I personally do not understand why it is so hard for people to accept that God exists and that He is the most logical explanation for the existence of the universe.

There are two types of things that exist.

Things that exist by necessity.
Things which are caused.

Mathematics exists by necessity. They are not caused to exist by anything else; they exist by their own by necessity.

The universe does not need to exist, it exists because it was caused. Nothing comes into existence apart from intelligence, therefore; God is the most logical cause of the universe, since it would require an infinite intelligence.

A Being which is eternal, such as God, does not require a cause.

The error of evolution is that it cannot explain how life began in the first place.[1] Life was also, not necessary, it was caused. Since Human intelligence requires an equal or greater intelligence to bring us into being, the logical explanation is also God.

Could we imagine that the microprocessors that enable today’s computers to function, came about by random mutations or chance arrangements of atoms? How much more difficult would it be to evolve a human mind, which is exponentially greater in complexity to any microprocessor or sophisticated computer code?

How did God make the universe?

In the beginning there was nothing. The universe did not exist. There were no planets, no stars, not even empty space. Imagine all the matter that makes up the universe, tightly compressed into a particle that is nearly invisible. Scientists believe that it was from this tiny, densely compressed speck of material, that everything that we see today, originated.[2]

At zero linear time, this speck of material exploded and expanded at hundreds of millions of miles per hour. This was an incomprehensible sphere of energy that was dense and compact beyond imagination. The temperature of the initial flash of energy was trillions of degrees. It was a mass of pure plasma expanding at the Speed of Light.[3]

Everything that would exist in our present universe would come from this initial material; the planets, the stars, every living thing; even time and space itself—all things were created at that moment. Continue reading “The Singularity of God: His Existence and Being”

Salvation Without Cost

COPYRIGHT WARNING

It is the greatest desire of man that he could live forever. There have been many books written, movies produced, and songs sung; that express our desire to live a life that would never end. When we think about the ceasing of our existence here on earth, it doesn’t make sense. How could we suddenly cease to exist? It is our sense of eternity and fear of death, that haunts us our entire life. The Bible states that God placed eternity within our heart when He made us, but none of us understands How to achieve it.

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NLT)

If there was a fee that could be paid in order to gain access to eternal life, it is certain that many wold endeavor to pay it. The reason that people explore religion in the first place is to understand what happens at the moment of death and seek to know if they will go on living after their body dies.

Amongst all religions of the world, there is a common thread: The fact that eternal life can be achieved, at a cost. Those who will acquire the right to live forever, must perform certain rituals, procedures, or follow a set of rules. Only the Bible reveals that eternal life is a free gift that cannot be purchased. God will give any person the right to live forever, without cost, if they will simply believe what He has said.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

The way to heaven is not by a religion, it is through a person. Jesus has already purchased our salvation by the giving of His life. All that we must do is believe this and receive His gift. Continue reading “Salvation Without Cost”
