A Summary Of The Facts That Prove The Rapture Will Happen During The Feast Of Trumpets

As we approach the Feast of Trumpets during September 22-24, these two days become the focus of attention for people all over the world. Will Jesus descend from heaven and remove His church from Earth next week during the Feast of Trumpets, as so many sources are reporting?

This essay examines the facts that concern this event and presents to you the biblical evidence.

The Rapture (Latin) is the Harpazo (Greek) word, found in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, to describe the English words “caught up.” The subject of this first-century letter written by Hebrew scholar Paul to the church at Thessalonica is what happened to people who died who believed in Jesus as their Savior.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”

False teachers came into the church located at Thessalonica after Paul taught them about the Rapture and said that the “Day of the Lord” had already begun. This is similar to the modern claim by false teachers that the Day of the Lord (the Tribulation) has already happened. The Preterist assertion is that when John described the Tribulation Period of Revelation 6-18, these events happened in 70 AD when the Roman General, Titus, destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.

People who assert the Preterist view of Revelation are ignorant of the Old Testament principle of an earlier and later fulfillment of the same prophecies. This is a fundamental fact of Bible Prophecy that must be understood. In many of the Prophecies of the Bible, there is an earlier and a later fulfillment of the same prophecy. Jesus demonstrated this principle in Luke chapter 4:

Isaiah 61 is the establishment of this principle.

When Jesus returned to His hometown of Nazareth, He went to the synagogue on the Sabbath. He was asked to read from the prophet Isaiah, where 131 Messianic Prophecies are recorded. You can see these prophecies and their fulfillment in my book: “The Prophecies of the Messiah.”

Luke 4:16-20: “So Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.”

Compare Isaiah 61:1-2 to what Isaiah said in chapter 61 of his book:

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God…”

Jesus stopped at “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” He didn’t read: “and the day of vengeance of our God.”

Why?

At Jesus’ first arrival on earth, He did not come to complete “the day of vengeance of our God.” He came to fulfill the first part of Isaiah’s prophecy: “To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” On His first visit to Earth, Jesus came to offer grace, mercy, and salvation to every person. He was coming as the suffering Servant of God—the Lamb who would lay down His life for the sins of the world.

At Jesus’ second appearance on earth, at the end of the seven-year Tribulation, He is returning as the King of kings and Lord of lords. At His return, Jesus will bring the vengeance of God to the earth.

When Jesus finished reading the words of Isaiah Chapter 61, He rolled up the scroll and handed it back to the attendant. As He sat down, the eyes of all those in the synagogue were transfixed on Jesus. Then He said these words:

Luke 4:21: “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

The Jews who heard Jesus speak these words in the synagogue were utterly astonished. The words of these prophecies from Isaiah Chapter 61 could only be fulfilled by the coming of the Messiah.

By stating that this prophecy had been fulfilled as Jesus spoke, He was claiming to be the Messiah. Jesus said that He would fulfill the first part of Isaiah 61, “the acceptable year of the Lord,” during His first arrival, and then “the day of vengeance of our God” at His return.

Jesus revealed something to us that was hidden in verse 12 of Isaiah 61: There Were Two Parts to the Fulfillment of this Prophecy.

This example from Isaiah 61 demonstrates an important principle that must be used whenever we are evaluating the Prophecies that concern Jesus and the Last Days.

The First Confirmation That Jesus Is Coming For His Church During The Feast of Trumpets:

The Preterist View fails to understand that some of what Jesus said about the Last Days in Matthew 24 was fulfilled in 70 AD, but not all of what Jesus said. The events Jesus described for the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple, and the eviction of the Jews from their land, did happen in 70 AD. The events John records in Revelation 6-18, the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowl judgments, did not happen in 70 AD.

The Preterist Error is continued in their interpretation of the “Last Trumpet” that Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, in describing the timing for the Rapture:

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Preterists say that this “Last Trumpet” is the Seventh Trumpet of Revelation 11:15:

Revelation 11:15 “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

This is the last trumpet in the series of seven trumpets of Revelation, so the Preterist assumes this is the “Last Trumpet” that Paul is describing in 1 Corinthians 15:52.

In ancient Israel, during the time that Paul wrote this scripture from 1 Corinthians 15:52, the Jews of that time understood exactly what Paul was describing. In Israel, every Jew was commanded to observe the Seven Feasts of the Lord. The Fifth Feast is called The Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah.

During the observance of this Feast, multiple Trumpets are sounded during the two days of the Feast. Records indicate that as many as 100 Trumpets were sounded during the Feast of Trumpets. Jews also understood that at the conclusion of this Feast, there was “The Last Trumpet.”

The Seven Trumpets of Revelation have nothing to do with the Trumpets sounded during the Feast of Trumpets.

The Trumpet sounded during the Feast of Trumpets is the Trumpet that Paul was describing in his letter to the Corinthians regarding the time of Jesus’ return for His church, the Rapture.

Notice the difference between the Trumpet described in 1 Thessalonians 4 and the Trumpet described by Revelation 11:15:

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16 “… with the trumpet of God.”
  • Revelation 11:15 “Then the seventh angel sounded:”

The Trumpet that proclaims the Rapture in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 is from GOD.

The Trumpet that proclaims the seventh Trumpet of Revelation 11 is from an ANGEL.

When Paul wrote to the church at Corinth proclaiming the same Rapture he proclaimed to the church at Thessalonica, he says that Jesus will come for His church after “The Last Trumpet” is sounded.

Jesus was telling us that He is coming for His church during the Feast of Trumpets.

The Second Confirmation That Jesus Is Coming For His Church During The Feast of Trumpets:

Jesus made a statement that confirms He may return for His church during the Feast of Trumpets. Peter records Jesus’ words in Mark 13:34

“The coming of the Son of Man (Messiah) can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. When he left home, he gave each of his slaves instructions about the work they were to do, and he told the gatekeeper to watch for his return. You, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know when the master of the household will return—in the evening, at midnight, before dawn, or at daybreak. 36 Don’t let him find you sleeping when he arrives without warning. I say to you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!”

“..in the evening, at midnight, before dawn, or at daybreak.”

It’s interesting that the Feast of Trumpets is the only Feast of the seven that has a nighttime watch for the Feast to begin.

Jesus is instructing those who are waiting and watching for His return that He will come during the night hours (Jerusalem time). This language indicates that Jesus was referencing a well-known Jewish event that only took place during the night watch hours when the Feast of Trumpets arrived. Jews of the first century called the Feast of Trumpets: “no man knows the day or the hour,” because it could happen, “in the evening, at midnight, before dawn, or at daybreak,” during a two day period.

The Feast of Trumpets is the fifth Feast of the Lord. Jesus fulfilled the first four Feasts, on the exact day and in the precise way, these Feasts must be fulfilled. Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and Pentecost.

For the Feast of Trumpets to begin, two witnesses are watching at night in Israel for the moment when they see the beginning of the thin silver horns of the moon that are first seen, indicating that the Feast of Trumpets can be certified as beginning. This can only happen, “At evening, at midnight, before dawn, or a daybreak,” as Jesus references these nightwatches during the Feast of Trumpets when two witnesses watch for the arrival of the silver horns of the moon, in Mark chapter 13.

This Year, the Feast of Trumpets occurs when the Waxing Crescent takes place on September 24, 2025.
According to the instructions of the Sanhedrin, two witnesses must watch in the evening for the horns of the moon to appear before declaring, “Rosh Chodesh, the moment when the Feast of Trumpets arrives.

To “watch” is not a literal staying awake all night to wait for Jesus during the two nights of Trumpets. Jesus is saying that we who love Him should not be sleeping as the world is unaware, but awake, understanding the signs and times of His arrival.

Wherever we are on Earth when Jesus comes for us, we will all meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

The Third Confirmation That Jesus Fulfilled The First Four Feasts Of The Lord Already:

There are seven feasts that Israel was to observe, from the Book of Leviticus, Chapter 23. Each one of these feasts has a counterpart in the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled in the New Testament.

The Seven Feasts Of Israel

In the Books of Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, the Lord commanded Israel to observe seven feasts or festival days.

  1. Passover (ALREADY FULFILLED)
  2. Unleavened Bread (ALREADY FULFILLED)
  3. First Fruits (ALREADY FULFILLED)
  4. Pentecost (ALREADY FULFILLED)
  5. Trumpets
  6. Atonement
  7. Tabernacles

When Jesus came into the world for the first time, He perfectly fulfilled the first four of these Feasts on the precise day they should be fulfilled and with the exact requirements that each of these feasts called for.

Matthew said, on seventeen occasions, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying. Matthew believed Jesus was fulfilling all of the Old Testament prophecies that were written for the Messiah.

Matthew 21:4: “All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying.”

Jesus understood that He was purposely fulfilling these seven feasts. The question is: Why? What do these feasts of the Lord have to do with Jesus’ appearance on earth and His return at the end of the age?

Jesus fulfilled Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost perfectly. Why did He stop at Pentecost and not also fulfill Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles?

Remember that Jesus not only fulfilled the first four feasts on the exact day the feast was called for, but He also fulfilled all of the details each feast required. Because of this, I believe that when Jesus returns for His church at the Rapture, He will do so during the next feast after Pentecost—the Feast of Trumpets. It is my opinion that the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah will be fulfilled by the coming of Jesus for His church.

Some people object to this idea because they say that Jesus told the disciples that “no man knows the day or the hour of His return.”

The interesting thing about the Feast of Trumpets is that it lasts for two days and contains 48 hours within the Feast. For this reason, it is impossible to know the exact day or the precise hour that Jesus will come for His church.

Jesus scolded the Pharisees for not recognizing the time of His visitation as Messiah, telling these men that they should have recognized the times and seasons of His coming. As this book continues, you will learn why Jesus said this. God gave the prophet Daniel the precise day that the Messiah would arrive at Jerusalem. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the day predicted by Daniel’s prophecy and announced that He was the Messiah.

It is important to understand that the Jewish day begins at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 6:00 p.m. the following day. When the Bible states that Passover begins on a particular day, this means that the feast will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue for seven days, ending at 6:00 p.m. on the seventh day.

The Feast Of Passover

The lamb for the Passover sacrifice is examined on the tenth day of the month of Nisan, the first month in the Hebrew calendar, our month of April (Exodus 12:3). This was the day when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the foal of a donkey—Palm Sunday, April 6, 32 A.D.—to be examined before He would die four days later, on the precise day that Passover Lamb would be sacrificed.

Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem on April 6, 32 A.D., was the fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy of a command given, followed by 173,880 days, when the Messiah would come to Israel. On March 14, 445 B.C., Artaxerxes gave his decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. The day Jesus rode into Jerusalem was the fulfillment of this prophecy from Daniel Chapter 9. Daniel’s prophecy will be covered in great detail in chapter 3.

According To The Book Of Exodus:

  • The lamb must be examined for defects on the tenth day (Exodus 12:3).
  • The Passover lamb must be a male (Exodus 12:5).
  • He must be spotless or perfect (Exodus 12:5). Jesus is perfect, without sin: For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
  • He must have been killed at twilight on the fourteenth day (Exodus 12:6). This was early evening, the time when Jesus was crucified: And about the ninth hour (3 p.m.) Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani” (Matthew 27:46).
  • The whole assembly of the congregation shall kill it (Exodus 12:6). The Jews who were gathered before Pilate declared that Jesus’ blood would be upon them: Let His Blood be upon us and our children (Matthew 27:25).
  • The blood shall be for a sign (Exodus 12:13). “…the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
  • Not one of His bones shall be broken (Exodus 12:43, 46).

Comparing the text of Exodus, describing the Passover Lamb, with the New Testament narrative of Jesus’ fulfillment of the Passover:

  • Exodus 12:13: When I see the blood, I will pass over you.
  • Romans 3:25: …by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.
  • Exodus 12:13: The plague shall not be on you to destroy you.
  • Romans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
  • Exodus 12:14: This day shall be to you a memorial.
  • Luke 22:19: …And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

The Feast Of Unleavened Bread

  • This feast begins immediately after Passover (Exodus 12:6).
  • Unleavened bread is bread without yeast.
  • Yeast is a picture of sin.
  • Yeast, even in small amounts, will permeate the whole lump of dough.
  • Bread without leaven or yeast will not rise.
  • Jesus is The Bread of Life.
  •  Jesus is without sin/leaven.
  • After Jesus was crucified, He lay in the tomb unraised.

1 Peter 1:18-19: “Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and spot.”

Jesus fulfilled the Feast of Unleavened Bread by remaining without sin and not rising from the dead on this day.

The Feast Of Firstfruits

  • Firstfruits began exactly 3 days after Passover (Exodus 12:10).
  • Jesus died on Passover and then was raised to life 3 days later, on the feast of Firstfruits.
  • Paul said that when Jesus died and rose, He became the Firstfruits of those who have died believing in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:20: “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s.”

In Other Words:

  • When Jesus died, He forever defeated death.
  • When Jesus rose from the dead, He would never die again.
  • When anyone dies who has trusted in Jesus for their salvation, they will also be raised to life, never to die again.

Jesus was the Firstfruits (the first to rise from the dead) of all those who will also never die again. We, in our order, when Jesus returns for His church, will also rise, never to die again. This means that Jesus also perfectly fulfilled the Feast of Firstfruits on the exact day it should be observed.

After Jesus had risen from the dead, He was very specific in telling the disciples that they should wait for the promise of the Father in Jerusalem. Precisely 50 days after He was resurrected, the disciples were in the upper room, on the Feast of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came to inhabit every believer.

The Feast Of Pentecost

  • 50 days after Firstfruits (Leviticus 23:16)
  • Jesus fulfills Pentecost by sending the Holy Spirit (John 20:22).
  • The Church was born on Pentecost (Acts 2).

The Biblical Command for Pentecost: The primary reason for the timing of Pentecost is God’s command in the Torah:

Leviticus 23:15 16 “You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering. You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you shall present a grain offering of new grain to the Lord.”

The “day after the Sabbath” is understood as the Feast of Firstfruits (see Leviticus 23:10–11), which occurs the day after the Sabbath during Passover week.

From this day, the Israelites were to count seven weeks (49 days). The 50th day was to be the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot / Pentecost).

This is why the Greek name Pentēkostē (Πεντηκοστή) means “fiftieth”—the 50th day after Firstfruits.

Examining the narrative of the New Testament, we notice that fifty days after Passover, Jesus birthed His church on the specific day the feast of Pentecost should be observed.

Acts 1:4-5: “And being assembled together with them, Jesus commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Acts 2:1-4: “When the Day of Pentecost (Pent=50) had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

On the day of Pentecost, Peter stood before the gathered crowd from many nations. He declared to those who were before him that Joel’s prophecy, that the Holy Spirit would be poured out in the last days, was being fulfilled at that very moment.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel…” Acts 2:14-21

The Harvest

From Pentecost until the Feast of Trumpets, there is a four-month interval called the harvest (Leviticus 23:22). This is the period when Israel would harvest all the crops that have been grown during the summer months. Jesus referred to this harvest in His statement to the disciples regarding the gathering of believers into the Lord’s church, which Jesus called His harvest.

Matthew 9:37-38: “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

The harvest, between Pentecost and Trumpets, is certainly the same Harvest period Jesus is speaking of here in Matthew Chapter 9. This is the time when the Lord will bring into His Church all those who will be saved. You are saved when you believe that Jesus died for you, and confess with your mouth that He is your Lord and Savior. This “Harvest” is the period of prophetic history we are living in today. We are waiting for the Trumpet to sound and the voice of the Lord to call us to meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

When the Harvest is complete and all those who will come into Jesus’ church are complete, the Feast of Trumpets will occur. At that time, Jesus will return for His church, fulfilling the fifth feast of the Lord.

The Feast Of Trumpets

At the end of the summer harvest, when it is time for all of God’s people to be gathered together into one place, they begin this gathering by the blowing of the Shofar (ram’s horn), a Trumpet blast.

…For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God…

The text of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 gives us a vivid description of what will happen at the moment Jesus returns to earth from heaven, to retrieve His church.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (Raptured) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.

In these 6 verses of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Paul confirms:

Verse 13: He does not want us to misunderstand the doctrine of the Rapture; this is why he is expounding on the details of what will take place.

Verse 14: Paul’s explanation includes a description of what has happened to all those who have already died believing in Jesus as their Savior: When Jesus returns, He will bring with Him all those who have already died. It is important to notice that the people who have died have been with Jesus in heaven, not in purgatory or soul sleep. The term “those who sleep in Jesus” was a polite way of saying that a loved one had died. Verse 15: Those who are alive on the earth at the time Jesus returns will not rise to meet the Lord ahead of those who have died. Verse 16: How the Rapture will happen: Jesus will descend from heaven with a shout, a likely similarity to the shout given during a traditional Hebrew wedding that signals the coming of the Bridegroom. The shout will be made by one of the archangels, such as Michael or Gabriel. The sound of a trumpet or shofar will be heard. The shofar was blown in Israel as a signal for the people to gather together.

First, those who have already died will rise, in their new bodies, from the grave or wherever they have been placed after death. (We know today that a person’s body can be completely reconstructed from just one cell that contains all of the DNA material necessary to build an entirely new body.)

Remember, Jesus said He is bringing with Him every person who has died believing in Him. This confirms the scripture: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). Jesus is bringing the spirits of all those who have died believing in Him and have been with Him in heaven since their death. These persons will be joined at the Rapture with their new glorified body, being raised first to meet Jesus in the air.

Verse 17: Finally, those of us who are alive when Jesus returns will also rise to meet the Lord in the air, while we are still alive. We will be transformed from mortal to immortal, receiving a brand-new, eternal body, similar to the body Jesus displayed after His resurrection. (A complete description of this new body is given in 1 Corinthians 15) .

It is important to understand that the living Christians will be transported into the outer atmosphere to meet Jesus. These believers who are alive at the time Jesus returns at the Rapture are a unique group of people who will never taste death. In the same way that Enoch was raptured to meet the Lord while alive.

Both groups of believers will meet Jesus in the air, in the atmosphere above the earth. The Rapture is not the Second Coming. The second coming of Jesus will not occur until the end of the seven-year Tribulation when Jesus returns with His church. (See Revelation Chapter 19)

The fact that Jesus returns at the end of the seven-year Tribulation with His church is evidence that the Rapture must occur before the Tribulation begins.

Verse 18: The words of these scriptures are given to us, as Jesus’ church, while waiting for the return of our Lord, to bring us comfort. Paul wrote these words of comfort and encouragement so that we would understand that Jesus could come for us at any moment. He will take us to heaven before the time of God’s wrath, which will be poured out during the seven-year Tribulation.

As the Messiah, Jesus will fulfill the Feast of Trumpets upon His return for His church. He will fulfill the remaining two feasts after His return.

Jesus Became:

  • The Passover Lamb is sacrificed on the fourteenth day of the month, when Passover is observed.
  • He lay in the ground, unraised, to fulfill the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
  • He rose three days later to fulfill the Feast of Firstfruits.
  • Fifty days later, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to birth the church on the Day of Pentecost.
  • Jesus said that He was the Lord of the harvest (Matthew 9:37-38). He defined the harvest as the period from Pentecost until He returned.

The Questions Are:

Was it an accident that Jesus fulfilled each of the first four Feasts on the precise day and in the precise way they should be fulfilled?

If Jesus purposely fulfilled each of the first four feasts, it is also certain that He will return to fulfill the last three.

After this current harvest period that we are living in today, between the 4th and 5th Feasts, Jesus will return for His church in fulfillment of the 5th Feast—Trumpets. It is certainly reasonable that this will be in fulfillment of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

I will lean on the understanding of Brother Rob and The Holy Spirit here; but, it feels to me like the Battle described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is about to escalate fully now since I believe Israel is going to fight this tooth and nail since I have seen no indication of acceptance by the Israelis. It really does feel like the whole world is coming against Israel now.

My hope is in Jesus the Messiah and the Lord’s Rapture of His Church in fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets.

  5. I never really understood the claim of the Preterist as it relates to the book of Revelation since the overwhelming scholarly consensus and strong historical evidence place the writing of the book of Revelation in the mid-AD 90s. So how could the book be prophetic after the fact? Are they claiming that it is a book of history? If so, who was the antichrist? Did we somehow miss the New Heaven and Earth?

Thank you Brother Rob for all you do.
