A Trinity

One of the most difficult concepts of God, for many people, is the idea that the Bible states that there is only One God, yet three are called God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is due to the fact that most people are seeing only the number three, when this is not what is implied by the term “One God.”

There is a unity of mind, purpose, and will, that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, encompass. They are in complete agreement in all things and have worked together for a singular purpose—throughout eternity. Because there is no division or variation in any part of their thoughts, words, or actions, they are One. This is the reason that they are proclaimed as “One God.” It is not that we are somehow seeking to compress three into one. God understands that there are three and it is not His intention to confuse or confound us. When were read John chapter 17, we see by Jesus prayer to the Father that this unity is expressed in Jesus coming to earth to accomplish the will of the Father. The Holy Spirit is in complete agreement with the two and He works in the background to bring glory to the Son. Jesus, in turn, works to bring glory to the Father.

In the writings of the New Testament, we see this need for unity that is expressed in the various letters that are written to the Christian church. Although there are many members of Jesus body, called “the church,” these members are supposed to be one in thoughts, words, and actions. Of course, we are not yet able to accomplish this difficult task. Nevertheless, this is Jesus’ will for His church. That we might be One, even as He, the Father, and the Spirit, are One.

When the prophet Isaiah sees the Lord in heaven, he notices that there are three. In response, Isaiah cries out; “Holy, Holy, Holy,” once for each of the three. It is from this prophecy of Isaiah 61, we understand that when the Messiah comes to earth, He will be the second person of the Trinity (Tri-Unity) of God.

Isaiah 6:1-3 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”

New Testament Fulfillment:

Matthew 3:13-17 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Some people have a problem with the doctrine of the Trinity because they say that the word Trinity does not appear in the Bible. This is the same argument that those who do not believe in the Rapture make; because the word Rapture is not found in the Bible, they conclude that the doctrine of the Rapture is not taught in the Bible.

I am not sure why someone needs to see the words Trinity or Rapture in order to believe that these principles are found in the Bible. The word “Grandfather” is also not found in the Bible, but we see examples of many grandfathers in the scriptures.

One God, revealed as three Persons

When we see Jesus, the Son, at the Jordan river, the Holy Spirit descending upon the Him in the form of a Dove, and the voice of the Father speaking from Heaven: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, what else would we refer to these three as, but a Trinity?[1]

The word Trinity means three-in-one.[2] The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God; and these three are One God.[3] Whether or not we can comprehend such a concept with our limited human minds, is irrelevant. The fact remains: this is the truth as it is declared in the Bible.

If we study the characteristics of each of the three of the Godhead, we learn from the Bible that each are called “God.” There are many verses in the Bible which substantiate that each of the three are called “God.” A few are included here:

The Father:
2 Peter 1:17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

The Son:
Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son He says:“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!”

The Spirit:
Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

These three are separate, distinct, and yet; they appear all together at the same time—working together for the same purpose.

Matthew 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, 1. Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw 2. the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly 3. a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

We have Jesus at the Jordan river, the Holy Spirit descending upon Him, and the Father speaking to the Son from heaven. The three members of the Trinity or Godhead are all separate, yet together at the same moment in time.

It is difficult for our human mind to comprehend how three can be one. If they are all equal in power and authority, are they not three Gods? It should come as no surprise to us that this fact of God, cannot be fully understood. An eternal and unlimited God would be impossible to fully comprehend by any transient human being.

Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

The true definition of One God

The answer to this important question (how can three be one?), is found in the definition of what constitutes “One.” These three amazing beings, although they are different and distinct from each other, are One in unity. They are so closely linked together in their agreement over everything, they are really just One. Their complete unity in all things, while still being distinct persons, is what makes them one God.

In the same way that a human being is a body, soul, and spirit, but these three comprise just one person. All three work together in perfect unity to make the existence of a single human being possible.

In John Chapter 17, we see a hint of this single-mindedness that allows the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to be One God. If we study carefully, the words that Jesus speaks to the Father, we can see that they are in total agreement over everything. Jesus often describes their relationship as simply: One. This single mind, and single will, is the reason that these three are One God. Without this complete unity in all things, they would just be three Gods accomplishing their own independent desires.

Take a few minutes and read carefully through Jesus prayer to the Father, here in John, chapter 17. You will notice that they are in total agreement, working together, for the same goal: the salvation of mankind.

John 17:1-26
Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”

“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.  I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.”

“And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.  Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.”

“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.  But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.  I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.”

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

We observe, not three persons—each with a separate volition, but one will, one mind, one purpose. All three of the Trinity have the same explicit determination in all things. There is no fraction or division or minute difference of desire—they are one in everything, and have apparently been this way—forever; this is why they are called “One God.”

It is their unity of mind and purpose that makes these three: One.

When John was transported to heaven, in Revelation Chapter 4, he saw One God who sat on the throne.

Revelation 4:1-2 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

As John looks, he sees a scroll in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. From the midst of the throne, came a Lamb as though it had been slain; then John saw the Seven Spirits of God.

Jesus, the Lamb, did not come from a separate place, but from within the other two.

We have a single throne in heaven, with the Father sitting on the throne, the Son coming from the midst of the Father, and the Spirit residing within the Son.

Revelation 5:1,6 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Seven, being the number of completion or perfection, the Holy Spirit is described as seven—the fulness of completion of the Spirit of God

The Son comes and takes the scroll out of the hand of the Father.

Revelation 5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

We see from this example that there is One throne in heaven, with the three members of the Trinity working together as One. Because of their Unity, they are described as One God.

In this prophecy from Isaiah 6:1-3, we see the coming Messiah, already in heaven as God, with the Father and the Spirit. The same Lord whom Isaiah saw on the throne in heaven is the Lord Jesus Christ that we are introduced to in the New Testament. This Trinity of God is the same trio that we see in the fulfillment of this prophecy in the New Testament; when Jesus is baptized at the Jordan river. Isaiah refers to the One God as Holy, Holy, Holy, an intentional Trinity of praise for one God who is manifested as three persons.

As three; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, enjoy a depth of fellowship that is impossible for us to comprehend. Zechariah writes to illuminate, how the Son of God is the “Companion” of the Father.

Zechariah 13:7a “Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion,” Says the LORD of hosts.

New Testament Fulfillment:

John 17:1-5 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”

John 10:30 “I and My Father are one.”

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

A Tri-Unity

This verse from Zechariah 13:7 (above) clearly describes the Messiah as the “Companion of the LORD of hosts,” meaning that the Messiah is Himself, God. We understand that this is true because the translators of the ancient scriptures from Hebrew into English, capitalized “Companion,” meaning they believed that the Messiah is, Himself; God. Statements, such as this, make us wonder why many Jews do not believe that the Messiah will be the Son of God. Scholars agree that the language of this verse indicates that it is the LORD speaking these words to His Son, confirming that He is also God.

To gain a proper understanding of the intimacy of fellowship between God the Father and God the Son, we should carefully examine Jesus’ prayer, in John Chapter 17, (above). As Jesus prays to the Father, they are of a single mind. There is never any disagreement between the three members of the Trinity. When Jesus prays to the Father, every word, every action and desire that He has, is always in alignment with the will of the Father and the Spirit. The goal of the Son is to bring glory to the Father. The goal of the Father is to bring glory to the Son. The goal of the Holy Spirit is to bring glory to both the Father and the Son.

Unity in Jesus church

In Romans Chapter 12 and 1 Corinthians Chapter 12, Paul makes an important demand of all those who will rightly follow Jesus: They must become one in all things, even as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One.

Although there are Billions of believers over the course of human history who have come to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they must become one in all things. There is really only one Church, though man has divided the church into many parts. The one church Jesus created is not made up of billions of individual people who choose their own will and go in many different directions. We each have an individual function and different gifts; but we should all have the same mind, will, and a single-minded purpose.

It is the goal of Jesus to make all of us who exist as individuals in His church—one body, even as He is One with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Romans 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13-18 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?

1 Corinthians 12:18-20 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.

Imagine today what would happen if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit worked against each other in the same way that the church operates. The universe would collapse in utter chaos. Conversely, imagine if Jesus’ church worked together in perfect unity as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, have worked together as One for eternity. There would be nothing that would be impossible for us.

I have been a pastor for 22 years and I have seen first hand how the church of Jesus Christ is not together in unity. There is fighting, bickering, backbiting and gossiping occurring constantly in the church. Several years ago, one of the men in a church that I was a part of, began to spread a lie that ultimately destroyed the church and closed its doors. Though that lie has since been exposed for the untruth that it was, years later, there has never been repentance or an admission of guilt by this man. In the midst of all his efforts to spread this lie, which caused the collapse of the church; a member of his family was killed in a tragic accident. Whether this loss was due to the disunity that this man caused or as a matter of happenstance, I do not know. The scriptures indicate that nothing happens apart from the oversight and sovereignty of the Lord.

It should be understood by the members of Jesus’ church that those who serve as the teachers of God’s word are under His protection. He will not permit anyone to come against the men that He has anointed to deliver His word to the people; and should someone do so, the Lord will stand against that person.

1 Chronicles 16:21 He permitted no man to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”

Though Abimelech did not know that Sarah was Abraham’s wife and though Abraham committed sin by deceiving Abimelech, Abraham remained the servant of God and under His protection. The Lord warned this king to not harm Abraham. Wisely, Abimelech was struck with fear that caused him to respect the Lord and Abraham His servant, and do him no harm.

Genesis 20:7-8 Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.” 8 So Abimelech rose early in the morning, called all his servants, and told all these things in their hearing; and the men were very much afraid.

When the members of Jesus’ church work to promote disunity and cause divisions within the church that ultimately cause people to not attend that fellowship any longer, they place themselves under the wrath of the Lord. Because unity is the central part of the Trinity of God, He holds unequalled displeasure against those who work to cause disunity. Whether unintentionally or by malice—when the results of words or actions cause harm to the church, the Lord will act to discipline those who cause the injury.

Proverbs 6 speaks of seven things that the Lord hates; the seventh of these is an “abomination” to the Lord: “Discord among brothers.”

Proverbs 6:16 These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

Proverbs 6:19 (the seventh) … one who sows discord among brethren.

The Lord demands unity within the body of Jesus Christ. This is not a suggestion. When discord is spread and the members suffer and are broken over it, the Lord will not permit those who tear the body into pieces to remain innocent. We see examples of this throughout the Bible. Two important examples of those who cause disunity and the consequences of their actions are Korah, in Numbers 16, and Ananias and Sapphira, in Acts 5.

Korah’s Rebellion:

Numbers 16:8-32 Then Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi. 11 Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD.” 15 Then Moses was very angry, and said to the LORD, “Do not respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, nor have I hurt one of them.” 19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation. 20 And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 21 “Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.” 22 Then they fell on their faces, and said, “O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and You be angry with all the congregation?” 23 So the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Get away from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.’ ” 31 Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, 32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods.

When Korah determined to come against the man whom God had chosen to lead His people, he came against God Himself. We should understand that those who are leaders in the church are placed there by God. If there is a problem in the Lord’s church, He will deal with those who need correction—Himself. When anyone takes the role of an adversary against a man who is sincerely seeking to serve the Lord and bless the people, they should understand that the Lord will not take it lightly when His church is hurt or destroyed by those who cause the destruction.

Ananias and Sapphira’s Missrepresentation:

Acts 5:1-10 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” 5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. 6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. 7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.” 9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband…

Ananias and Sapphira owned a piece of property that they sold. The proceeds from this property was theirs to do with, as they chose. They apparently gave as an offering, all but a portion of the total money they received from this sale, to the church. Their sin appears to be that of falsely representing to the leaders of the church that they had given the entire amount to the Lord, instead of telling the truth that they had kept some for themselves. It would have been completely appropriate for Ananias and Sapphira to retain part of the money from the sale of their property. They really did not have to say anything about the matter at all. They could have simply given their offering to the Lord and left it at that. Where the grievous sin occurred was in the pretense of making themselves appear worthy of greater honor than they were actually due. Their actions caused a fracture of unity in the church, and therefore became a very serious matter.

The serious nature of this error is seen in the comments of Peter who defined their actions as: inspired by satan; “Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit?” Apparently, the Lord agreed with Peter; for immediately, the Lord struck—dead, both Ananias and Sapphira—in His judgement.

This verse is also important in defining for us who the Holy Spirit is. “You have not lied to men but to God…” Peter clarifies that they lied to the Holy Spirit, and He is God. From this, we understand that the Holy Spirit is not an active force but a person, as the Father and the Son are also persons of the Godhead.

God’s judgement in both of these examples allows us to see the seriousness of causing division within the body of Christ. God holds—guilty, those who cause such divisions. Both Korah and his entire household, as well as Ananias and Sapphira, perished for their error.

Disunity in the church of Corinth caused sickness and death:

Paul wrote to the Corinthian church over their serious acts of disunity that had apparently caused sickness and death amongst some of the members.

During their love feasts, when the church provided a meal for the members, the rich would often come in early and drink too much wine, eat to much food, and leave little provision remaining for the poorer members of the church who arrived later.

1 Corinthians 11:18-22 For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 19 For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you. 20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. 21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.

After the love feasts were concluded and the members of the church took communion together, those who had caused this division and carelessly harmed the poorer members—became sick, and some even died after having taken communion. Apparently, by their total disregard for the other members of the church, as they took the elements of communion—they did so in “an unworthy manner.”

1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep (have died). For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

In the simple act of communion, members of the church died because of their disregard for unity and the welfare of others in the church. By their selfishness, they harmed the entire fellowship of believers.

It is important to note that the “unworthy manner,” in which these careless members of the church conducted themselves, had nothing to do with being unworthy to receive communion. It was because they disregarded the Lord’s body—His church—that they became sick, and died.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

James speaks of these individuals who had become sick and some had died. He speaks of their actions that had caused disunity in the church as “sin.” They could be forgiven and restored, if they would confess their sins and cease their actions that harmed the church.

James 5:9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned.

James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

The members of Jesus’ church are to imitate Him in their lives. We are not allowed to argue, disagree, backbite, gossip, spread rumors, and cause division. Those who do so and thereby cause harm to the church will suffer the wrath of the Lord for destroying the unity that is so vital and important to God. We may not understand the harshness of God’s judgement in killing these people who caused division, but we don’t need to understand. What is important is that we comprehend that this principle of unity amongst the church is of great importance to the Lord. For God to take such serious action, tells us how important unity within the members of Jesus’ church, is. Jesus requires the same unity in His church, that we see demonstrated in the prayer of Jesus, in John Chapter 17, between the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.

As God is one, Jesus will make His church one also. No one who works to make Jesus’ church; fractured or broken can be a part of His church. I have seen the results of what happens when people from the church cause divisions and disunity and it has broken my heart.

The basis for the Trinity is that God is one in mind, will, purpose, and work. They never disagree or suffer differences in their will. This is what makes these three; One God. This same principle is the power behind Jesus’ church. In these last days, we see the opposite occurring in many Christian churches all over the world. If Jesus’ church could come together in one mind and one purpose and stop the gossiping and disunity from within the church, there is nothing that would be impossible for us. As the Lord’s church, we could drastically affect and change this world, and see millions more come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
