The books of 1 and 2 Timothy are written to a young pastor who wants to strengthen and bless the members of his church. Paul writes to encourage Timothy to teach sound doctrine, fight the good fight of faith, and pray for all leaders in authority.
Paul instructs Timothy in how to recognize and train men to serve with him in the church. There are many important and critical doctrines and practical applications in Paul’s two letters to Timothy that are still extremely important today.
