The Crown Of Life
Remember, I told you that in this world you will have tribulation. It is by many trials that you will enter My kingdom. It is through difficulties, hurts, losses, and failures that you will grow the most and become My disciples.
If you patiently endure your tribulations and continue to trust Me, I will give you the Crown of Life. Everyone must endure trials; but for those who understand that trials have a good purpose, and seek to learn and grow through their difficulties, I will acknowledge these persons before My Father and all the angels. Heaven will hear that you did not deny Me or fall away when you were tested.
You have an enemy; and he will never stop lying to you, nor cease from seeking to discourage you. He wants to cause doubts in your mind about My love and make you give up. He will try to harden your heart by the difficulties you endure. If you remember that everything you go through in your life has a good purpose, then you will not let anything or anyone take away your trust and lose your reward.
Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. ~Revelation 2:10
I have said these things to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be encouraged; I have overcome the world. ~John 16:33 (RCR)
Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. ~2 Timothy 3:12 (NLT)
They encouraged them to continue in the faith in spite of all the persecution, reminding them that they must enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations. ~Acts 14:19-22 (TLB)
Everyone who acknowledges me before people, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven. ~Matthew 10:32 (RCR)
Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. ~1 Peter 4:12-13 (NLT)
It is a hard lesson to learn, Lord, that I must experience trials. I remember that You learned obedience by the things You suffered. If this was necessary for You, it is certain that I must learn in the same way.
I ask only that You help me when I am suffering through my trials and that You stay close beside me. Speak to my heart and remind me that nothing is able to separate me from Your love. In the end, I will grow and learn as a result of these difficulties.
Thank You for the promise of heaven, Jesus, and the peace and safety that awaits me. After I have finished my time here on earth, I know that there will come a day when I will never go through suffering and hurt again.
I look forward to that time and to seeing all of those who also love You and were perfected by their trials. We will carry all of these current experiences with us to heaven and will always remember what we learned while in our bodies here on earth.
On the day when I receive my crown, and return with You to earth to reign, I will understand what the mortals here on earth are going through, and be able to help and encourage them.
