Blaming People:
One of the most unbecoming characteristics of a person is to blame other people for things that happen in their life. In truth, I guide and direct all of your steps, and it is never people who ultimately control what happens in your life.
If you truly believe that I love you and have your best interests at heart, then you will always remember that I have a good purpose for everything I let you go through. I have a good path for you, and I am always watching over you.
If you allow bitterness to set in when you fail and struggle, it will tear you up inside and slow your progress. Take things in stride and go along with the flow of life. Nothing happens by accident. All the days of your life I am with you, and you will never be alone or without help.
Let My love and your knowledge of My constant care be your guide. I never force you or threaten to leave when you are unwilling to obey. I wait patiently and with compassion, understanding how hard it is to be human and to go through the trials of this life.
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” ~Psalms 32:8-9 (NLT)
I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant—I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. ~Psalms 73:21-24 (NLT)
Lord Jesus, help me, when I fail and things go wrong, to not blame You or other people. Help me to realize that failures are a part of this present world and that Your purpose in my struggles is to train me and prepare my life for what is ahead.
All of the things that people do to me, and the times when I am passed over and ignored, are really opportunities to trust You even more. No one can do anything against me, or for me, except that You first approve it.
If You give Your okay and I am placed into trials, it is because You want to teach me, by these difficulties, so that I can learn from these struggles in ways I never could if everything always went well or my journey was easy.
