The world awaits the imminent attack of Israel by Iran, at any moment—7:00 am, Monday, August 5, 2024
Jesus said: “People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” ~Luke 21:26-28
The prophet Ezekiel said that in the Last of the Last Days, Israel would be attacked by Iran and a host of other nations. Jesus said that when we see these events begin to take place that the prophets recorded for the Last Days, we should “look up,” because the day of His return for His church is near—even at the door.
“For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.” ~1 Thessalonians 4:14-18
It is interesting that when Jesus comes for His church, it will be “up.” in the outer atmosphere of Earth—arriving to take His church from the imminent beginning of the Tribulation Period. During 21 Global judgments described by Revelation 6-18, two-thirds, or nearly 8 billion people will perish from the earth, in 21 judgments.
“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” ~Matthew 24:21-22
Russia Coming From The North: The Tribulation Begins
Jesus said: “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.” ~Luke 21:20-22
There Are 8 Weeks Until The Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah Begins, On Thursday, October 3, 2024, At 6:00 P.m., Jerusalem Time (8:00 AM Pacific Time).
Jesus said that we cannot know, “the day or the hour,” of His coming for His church, but we can know, “the times and seasons,” of His arrival. In nearly 50 years of studying the arrival of Jesus for His church, certain details concern Israel, Iran, Russia, and the United States, that had to be in alignment.
For the first time in my life, all of the events that are required for the return of Jesus, are ready. I don’t know if this is the year or the time of Jesus’ return for His church. I do know that these are the times and seasons that we should be vigilant and ready for Jesus’ return.
The following are some of the resources that I have published that describe the last of the Last Days, that we find ourselves in today:
The Feast of Trumpets and the Rapture (Paperback and eBook)
The Book of Revelation: A Verse-by-Verse Commentary (Paperback and eBook)
The Rapture: Jesus Coming For His Church (eBook)
Certain days of the year play a critical role in the fulfillment of the prophetic word of God. We learn that after 400 years of slavery under the pharaoh, the children of Israel departed Egypt on the fifteenth day of the first month (April).[1] This is the same day that Jesus lay in the tomb after being crucified on the fourteenth day of the first month, Passover.
On the tenth day of the first month (April), the children of Israel crossed the Jordan River with Joshua and entered the land God had promised them when they departed Egypt.[2] When we arrive at the New Testament, we see that it was also the tenth day of the first month when Jesus came to Jerusalem to announce to the world that He was the promised Messiah.[3] Jesus waited until this day when on many occasions before, the disciples had urged Him to go to Jerusalem and declare who He was. Jesus told the disciples, “My time has not yet come.” The Lord has ordained certain days in which He would fulfill His prophetic word.
We discover that the day Jesus came into Jerusalem as the Messiah was also the precise day the lamb for Passover was brought for inspection. If the lamb was found to have any defect, he could not be offered to cleanse the people of their sins. Jesus came to Jerusalem as the Messiah on this day. He presented Himself as The Lamb of God and allowed the world to inspect Him. Jesus was without sin, perfect in every regard. Being perfect, He was able to offer His life for the sins of the world just four days later, on Passover, when He was crucified as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
John 1:29: “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
As we examine the important Feasts of Israel, we discover that they are the Feasts of the Lord. These days of observation were extremely important for Israel. It is by the fulfillment of each of these seven feasts that we see the purpose and ministry of Jesus as He came to earth the first time, the second time, and the fulfillment of all the prophecies that concern the lives and salvation of every person.
The Messiah Will Fulfill All Seven Feasts Of The Lord
It is interesting that when God gave Israel the seven Feasts to observe, He told them that these were “My feasts.” When we arrive at the New Testament, we find that Jesus claimed these feasts as His own by personally fulfilling each of the first four with great precision.
The Old Testament Prediction:
Leviticus 23:1-2: “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.’ ”
New Testament Fulfillment Of Each Feast:
As we go through each of the seven Feasts together, you will be awestruck by how precise Jesus was in His fulfillment of the requirements for these individual feasts.
Passover/Unleavened Bread:
Mark 14:1: “After two days it was the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Jesus by trickery and put Him to death.”
Firstfruits:
1 Corinthians 15:20: “But now Christ is risen from the dead and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
Pentecost:
Acts 2:1: “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”
Four Months Of Harvest (the interval):
John 4:35: “Do you not say, “There are still four months and then comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”
Trumpets:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (Raptured) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
Atonement (afflict your souls):
Matthew 24:21: “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
Tabernacles:
Revelation 21:3: “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.’”
The Real Purpose Of The Feasts:
The key to understanding these seven feasts is to define who the LORD is, in the term: “The Feast of the LORD.”
When we examine Psalm 23, we notice that the LORD (all caps) is called “my shepherd.”
Psalms 23:1 “The LORD is my shepherd….”
- In the Old Testament, the term “Lord” in Hebrew is Yahweh.[4]
- In the New Testament, the word “Lord” in Greek is Kyrios.[5]
Kyrios is often used as a polite way to address a person such as when we address a man today as “sir.” It can also mean “master” as in one who rules over a servant or slave. Any person who was able to speak Greek, during the time Jesus was here on the earth, understood that the New Testament word “Lord” was the same as the Old Testament word “Yahweh.” The Lord was understood to be the Creator and Sustainer of all life. There are several places in the New Testament where the translation of Lord as Jehovah is used to describe Jesus Christ. The New Testament translators intended that we understand Jesus is the Yahweh of the Old Testament.
Luke 2:11: “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ (Messiah) the Lord” (Yahweh).
“Today, in the city of Bethlehem, the baby that has been born is the Messiah, who is God Himself.” This is why the shepherds were so amazed at the angel’s statement.
With this in mind, we understand that when the Lord told Moses that these seven feasts were the Feasts of the LORD, the reference was to the coming Messiah. Since these are the Messiah’s feasts, we will investigate whether Jesus fulfilled these special events, and confirm whether or not He is the object of the prophecy of Leviticus 23:1-2.
Passover was the first feast God instructed Israel to keep every year, on the fourteenth day of the first month in the Jewish calendar (April). The following day, they were to observe the feast of Unleavened Bread. Then three days later, the feast of First Fruits. Fifty days after this, they were to observe the feast of Pentecost. We learn later that Jesus fulfilled these first four Feasts and then stopped.
There are seven feasts that Israel was to observe, from the Book of Leviticus Chapter 23. Each one of these feasts has a counterpart in the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled in the New Testament.
The Seven Feasts Of Israel
In the Books of Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, the Lord commanded Israel to observe seven feasts or festival days.
- Passover
- Unleavened bread
- First Fruits
- Pentecost
- Trumpets
- Atonement
- Tabernacles
When Jesus came into the world for the first time, He perfectly fulfilled the first four of these Feasts on the precise day they should be fulfilled and with the exact requirements that each of these feasts called for.
Matthew said, on seventeen occasions, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying. Matthew believed Jesus was fulfilling all of the Old Testament prophecies that were written for the Messiah.
Matthew 21:4: “All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying.”
Jesus understood that He was purposely fulfilling these seven feasts. The question is: Why? What do these feasts of the Lord have to do with Jesus’ appearance on earth and His return at the end of the age?
Jesus fulfilled Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost perfectly. Why did He stop at Pentecost and not also fulfill Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles?
Remember that Jesus not only fulfilled the first four feasts on the exact day the feast was called for, but He also fulfilled all of the details each feast required. Because of this, I believe that when Jesus returns for His church at the Rapture, He will do so during the next feast after Pentecost—the Feast of Trumpets. It is my opinion that the feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah will be fulfilled by the coming of Jesus for His church.

David’s prayer in 1 Chronicles 29 comes to mind. A tribute to our Lord and God is found there in that prayer; to which, all things belong to God and come from Him with blessings and benefits to those that receive and revere Him. Our wealth is in the abundance of the Lord our God’s love. Through that love we receive His Grace, and thus, from that Grace a Savior for the world has been provided – The Messiah … Jesus Christ – OUR TRUE TREASURE. This is what we pass on to the benefit of the WORLD. This is a TREASURE that will endure forever and will never rust, rot or decay. This is what we share everyday and we do so with GREAT FAITH and JOY. A pity that some only see that which is physical and decaying as being of any value.
And so, in Jesus, David’s kingdom will endure forever. The next eschatological event to occur is the Fifth Feast of the Lord – The Feast of the Trumpets. And all you have to do … IS LOOK UP and BELIEVE and this is the ONLY true exercise of YOUR FAITH.
The God of the Heavens is the only one that knows exactly when this moment will occur; but, He made sure that we would see the signs … a season if you may. We are in that season and wrath has been forecast.
The bible is clear. The God of the Heavens will not force you to believe; but, as Jesus said (John 20:29) `Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed`. What a powerful statement. I have not seen … but, I DO BELIEVE because of the prophecy that Rob Robinson is writing about.
I persevere here in the dung of sin created by Satan and his minions. But I have the WORD and that is all I need because the Lord my God stands with me. So. I look forward to the day that comes from this prophecy (Daniel 9:24):
Seventy sevens are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
Notice. To PUT AN END to sin.
Notice. To ATONE for wickedness.
Notice. To bring EVERLASTING righteousness.
Notice. To SEAL UP vision and prophecy.
Notice. To ANOINT the MOST HOLY PLACE.
These are wonderful things to believe and hope in and ONLY GOD can make them happen.
All Praise and Glory belong to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Come Lord. Amen.

Knowing that the Rapture is around the corner, are you giving away all your material goods to get ready? You can’t take it to heaven, after all, and you could benefit many people who are about to endure the End Times.
Harold Camping didn’t give away anything in the days before the world ended (5/21/2011), which made it clear to anyone watching that he didn’t have much faith in his own prediction.
Speaking of Camping, he also had to deal with that verse that Christians don’t know “the day or the hour” of Jesus’s coming. Christians also quote this from the Bible: “The day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.… Destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman” (1 Thessalonians 5:2–3).
But Camping pointed out the very next verse: “But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.” Given that you’re in the inner circle, like the Thessalonians, I don’t think you can plead ignorance.
“For the first time in my life, all of the events that are required for the return of Jesus, are ready. I don’t know if this is the year or the time of Jesus’ return for His church. I do know that these are the times and seasons that we should be vigilant and ready for Jesus’ return.”
If you think now is scary, what about the middle of WW2, say 1942? That was a pretty bleak time with an uncertain future. By comparison, Israel is militarily in pretty good shape, and its big brother has brought the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group to the eastern Mediterranean. I don’t like the dark clouds in the Middle East either, but today is hardly the scariest time in human history.
I think you’re being too hesitant. No matter what happens in the Middle East—from tensions slowly dissipating to WW3 starting tomorrow—you’ve got an answer. Your prediction seems to be that anything is possible, which isn’t worth anything.
