A Final Shaking—A Cosmic Disruption—Where Everything That Can Be Shaken Will Be Removed, Leaving Only That Which Is Rooted In The Kingdom of God

This morning, Tuesday May 13, 2025, when I woke the Lord gave me three things:

  1. The end of all things is at hand
  2. The axe is laid to the tree
  3. The fruit is ready to be picked

Then I opened my Bible and the first scripture He showed me:

Hebrews 12:25-29 25 “Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven! 26 When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” 27 This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.

28 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a devouring fire.”

I was deeply troubled by these things. I asked the Lord, “what does it mean?”

This is what was revealed:

1. “The end of all things is at hand.”

This directly echoes 1 Peter 4:7:

“The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.”

This phrase historically signals immediacy, readiness, and moral preparation, the chronological conclusion of time, the sense that God’s final purposes are now being realized—especially in light of the coming of Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom.

Combined with Hebrews 12, this takes on eschatological significance. The passage from Hebrews speaks of a final shaking—a cosmic disruption—where everything that can be shaken will be removed, leaving only that which is rooted in the Kingdom of God. This phrase I was given aligns perfectly with the call to live with an eternal perspective, understanding that judgment, purification, and fulfillment are imminent.

2. “The axe is laid to the tree.”

This phrase is directly from Matthew 3:10 (also Luke 3:9):

“Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

Spoken by John the Baptist, this statement is a warning of impending judgment. It communicates urgency and final opportunity: the moment of decision is now. If a tree (a life, a nation, a generation) does not bear fruit, it faces removal.

In light of Hebrews 12, where God says He will shake all of creation, this “axe at the root” becomes a metaphor for the removal of all that is fruitless, corrupt, or temporal. It is a wake-up call to holiness, repentance, and producing lasting fruit in the Kingdom (John 15:2–6).

3. “The fruit is ready to be picked.”

This implies that the harvest is ripe—both in the sense of souls ready for salvation, and also in the sense of God’s final evaluation (judgment or reward).

This echoes John 4:35:

“Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.”

And Revelation 14:15:

“Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, ‘Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’”

Here, the idea of harvest is dual: it refers to both the ingathering of the righteous and the judgment of the wicked. It represents the moment when the work of the Lord on earth is coming to its climax. That fruit is now mature—ready for God’s final action.

Hebrews 12:25–29 as Confirmation

This passage acts as a divine validation of all three statements:

  • “Do not refuse Him who speaks from heaven” – echoes the call to listen and respond now, because the end is at hand.
  • “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens” – signifies that the axe is poised; a deep disruption is imminent.
  • “Only what is unshakable will remain” – only fruitful, Spirit-born work will endure; the unfruitful is about to be removed.
  • “Our God is a consuming fire” – perfectly aligns with the imagery of judgment, purification, and holiness.

Taken together, this message is:

We are in a moment of prophetic urgency. The Lord is warning that we are approaching the final shaking—a time when every person, system, and institution will be tested by divine fire. Only that which is rooted in Christ, bearing fruit through the Spirit, will remain.

The axe is at the root—judgment is imminent for those who resist repentance. But at the same time, the fruit is ripe—God is about to gather His own, and we are called to labor while there is still time.

Application

  1. Personal – Are we living for the eternal? Are we bearing fruit?
  2. Prophetic – This may be a message to share, as a watchman call to others.
  3. Evangelistic – The harvest is ready. Souls are waiting. Time is short.

One week ago the Lord spoke to me about the events that are now taking place. He gave me scriptures that say that this time, right now, is the time to proclaim that all He wrote to the world about sin, salvation, and the coming judgment is at hand.

I began writing a book that details what He showed me. I hope to publish it seven days from today, Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Good News! The Book Was Finished and Published Early. See It Here

  2. Just another false prophecy. No man receives direct communication from God. There are no specifics in this prophecy because it would quickly be proven to be wrong.

    • This essay is not a prophecy. Read it carefully. It specifies texts of scripture that are already prophecy. Read the book when it is published next Tuesday, and see how all of these extant prophecies fit the days in which we are living. It is stunning?

      • It sure sounds like communication between you and God. You said God spoke to you. You asked God questions. Then God validated what He gave you with Scripture. Christian’s do not need this when they have the Bible to read for themselves and apply by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

      • It sounds like there is no relationship between you and God. You seem surprised that the Lord speaks to those who belong to Him.

I was born again by the Spirit of God on April 25, 1975. He has continuously spoken to me. I talk to Him in prayer numerous times a day.

Most often He speaks to me through His Word, the Bible, as was the case this morning. Sometimes He speaks directly to me in my mind by His Spirit.

I always test the Spirit to see if what I am hearing is in conformity with what God has already said in the Bible.

The things the Lord spoke to me this morning are already things He has said in the Bible. As you can see from what He said, we are in the final days before Jesus comes for His Church, and to judge the world.

If you truly belong to Jesus, He knows you, and He is always speaking to you. Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me.”

If you don’t hear Jesus speaking to you, perhaps you are not listening, or He doesn’t know you.

It should surprise no born again believer in Jesus that we are living in the last of the Last Days.

I was also born again through the preaching of the gospel in 1975 (a converted Catholic). I have been pastoring a Bible church for the last 35 years. Preached through many books of the New Testament several times and large portions of the OT. I pray much, read the Scriptures to learn His Word, serve others, share the gospel, and love my wife to whom I have been married going on 48 years. I have never had God speak to me in some sort of personal way and neither have any of the thousands of Christians I have ministered to. Many of them are very godly, Christ honoring believers who have strong walks with the Lord without hearing from Him like you do. When you say, “if you truly belong to Jesus, He knows you, and He is always speaking to you. Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me.” Does that mean someone who doesn’t hear things like you do are not saved? They don’t truly belong to Him. To use John 10:27 as a proof text to support your idea of personal communication from God is a great abuse of Scripture. Take time to read, “”Is That You, Lord?” Hearing the Voice of the Lord: A Biblical Perspective” by Gary Gilley.

        Thanks for the dialogue.

      • It sounds to me, Tom, like you are saved. Young Samuel heard the Lord call out to him, but he didn’t recognize His voice. Eli told him to say to the Lord, the next time He called him, “yes, Lord, your servant is here…”

I think every believer hears the Lord speak, they just don’t recognized His voice.

I hear him as a thought that suddenly comes into my mind. I recognize it is Him by what He says. This morning He told me things I didn’t know. That’s how I knew it was Him.

Thank you for your honesty. There’s not a lot of that today.

  3. The Lord hasn’t told you what you think He told you. Why no specifics? Because you would quickly be proven to be a false teacher. Very disappointing to hear this from you.

    • I don’t see how you could possibly know what the Lord told me. He has only told me what He has already said in the Bible. In my book that will be published next Tuesday, I detail how these prophecies from the Bible, fit in the current timeline we are living. Read the book, then make a determination. Blessings!

Regardless of what believe about the second coming, Christ, Himself, told us to watch. He scolded the Pharisees and Sadducees for not knowing about His first coming.

I am grateful to you for this timely book. I find that it is biblical, fact based and does not step out of that line with the teaching of scripture. Not Satan will always find something in everything we do to tear us down.

Since I learnt about the Feast of the Trumpets, it has been my believe that the Jesus will fulfill that Feast, and He did the previous four, to the letter during Rosh Hashanah. Which Rosh Hashanah know one, for great reason, can know. But we should also understand that Rosh Hashanah is a two day 48 hour event. We should I pay close attention the language Jesus used. He never said no one would know when He was coming. He said no one would know the day or hour which is exactly the case in the Feast of the Trumpets.

So He told us to keep watch so that we would not be deceived (Matthew 24:4). The absolute most important thing for a gentile is to be part of the Rapture for the 2nd death will have no power over you – Revelation 20:6.

This is why would should always watch the signs. The signs are very clear to me.

Thank for this book Pastor Rob for we all need reminding of just how close the Gentile Era is to being concluded ending the Grace and the Valley of Decision.
