Monday, August 18, 2025, President Donald Trump Is Meeting This Morning With Seven European Leaders To Try And Reach A Peace Plan For Russia, Ukraine, and Other Nations

The Prophet Daniel was given the details for the arrival of the Messiah in Daniel Chapter 9:24. Beginning at verse 27, Daniel is told the event that will begin the Seven Year Tribulation; the signing of a Seven Year Peace Plan between many nations, instituted by the World Leader known later as the antichrist and the beast.

The seven European leaders (NATO’s Mark Rutte; the EU’s Ursula von der Leyen; the UK’s Keir Starmer; France’s Emmanuel Macron; Germany’s Friedrich Merz; Italy’s Giorgia Meloni; and Finland’s Alexander Stubb) are joining Zelenskyy at the White House this morning.

1. Advocate NATO-style security guarantees for Ukraine as part of any settlement, while challenging Russian “guarantee” demands.
2. React to Trump’s recent signals (e.g., dropping NATO membership and accepting Russia’s 2014 seizure of Crimea) and keep negotiations anchored to Ukraine’s sovereignty and current battle lines.
3. Coordinate after Trump meets with Putin and his desire to broker a three-way summit; Europeans aim to shape the terms and keep Kyiv from being boxed into concessions.
4. Maintain momentum on aid, air defense, and reconstruction planning while the war continues.

Daniel Chapter Seven Describes Ten kings from the final Revived Roman Empire, three are removed, Leaving Seven Aligned Rulers.

These seven kings are understood as European leaders, because the final empire is a continuation of the former Roman Empire, which was centered in Europe. For this reason, the “seven European leaders” in prophecy are symbolic representatives of this confederation under Antichrist.

These seven being a part of the former Roman Empire, now meeting together to make peace, under the most powerful man on earth, is a significant prophetic event.

Are We Seeing The Alliance of These Seven Leaders and The Foundation of the Seven-Year Peace Treaty Named By Daniel 9:27?

Daniel 9:27 “Then he (the antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week, he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”

Our interest is not in a Peace Plan between Russia and Ukraine. What is of greatest interest is that the “Leader of the Free World,” President Trump, has gathered the seven leaders of the European Union (mentioned in prophecy) at the White House to seek a long-term peace plan. Trump said this morning that he is not interested in a ceasefire or two years of peace, but some period that is much longer. If the period named is seven years, this is likely the premise of a more inclusive peace plan that will include Israel and the surrounding Arab nations.

Since all of Daniel’s prophecy, listed in chapter 9, is focused on Israel and the Jews, the beginning of a long-term (7-year Peace Plan) could lead to the fulfillment of the Daniel 9:27 prophecy of seven years. Remember that the signing of this seven-year Peace Plan is the Seven-Year Tribulation described by the Book of Revelation.

Notice that Daniel’s prophecy states, “he (the antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week.” The prophecy doesn’t specify who the “many” are. There is nothing in the prophecy that precludes an event like the one we are seeing now, where Russia and Ukraine are the first nations that are the focus of the Peace Plan. We will have to wait and see what transpires in the weeks ahead.

Tuesday, August 19, 2025: The Prophetic Context Of The Monday Meeting:

Security Guarantees as a Precedent

European leaders proposed “NATO-style security guarantees” for Ukraine—essentially collective defense commitments from the U.S. and allied partners. Trump signaled U.S. involvement in such guarantees, though details remain unspecified.

The Prophetic Link: In Daniel’s vision of the revived Roman Empire, security and power are central. An alliance that offers collective security echoes “the ten kings” aligning under a greater authority (Antichrist) in the Last Days.

Hints of a Three-Way Summit

Trump indicated potential trilateral talks between himself, Zelenskyy, and Putin—a structure that mirrors arrangements anticipated in some end-time peace accords.

The Prophetic LInk: Scripture suggests that the Antichrist will broker a covenant or peace deal—a “seven-year peace plan” in eschatological interpretations—possibly involving multiple major powers. This development carries prophetic symbolism.

Diplomacy Without Ceasefire

European leaders insisted a ceasefire was necessary, while Trump remained skeptical—preferring immediate peace negotiations, even if they entail territorial concessions.

The Prophetic LInk: Historically, prophetic frameworks foreshadow a deceptive peace initiative—one that brings false hope and concessions—potentially enabling the rise of the Antichrist.

US–Europe Sovereignty Alignment

The meeting marked a rare US–European unity in public support for Ukraine—though behind the scenes, Trump paused to call Putin during talks. These events demonstrate the shifting allegiances and complex diplomatic ballet that could precede a global power realignment—one that prophecy suggests will lead to a restored Roman-type authority.

The Prophetic Results of This Meeting

This meeting can be seen as, perhaps, the beginning of the prophetic events that will take place during the beginning of the Tribulation:

These security guarantees for Ukraine may be the beginning of a new collective defense peace plan that will also encompass Israel and Arab nations, critical to the prophecies of Daniel 9:27.

1. Multilateral peace talks echo scripture’s portrayal of the Antichrist brokering international agreements.
2. Ambiguous peace terms and divided attention reflect the instability and deception characterized in prophetic narratives.
3. Shifting power centers (US, Europe, Russia) align with the emergence of a final, consolidated world power.

As we see these current events through the lens of biblical eschatological, these developments may be seen as early spiritual and geopolitical signposts of a revived Roman-like power structure rising in the Last Days.

These Events Present Us With A Profound Connection To Daniel 9:27—A Peace Plan Between Israel And Many Arab Nations

Daniel 9:27 “Then he (the antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week, he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”

The “he” here is understood by most conservative interpreters to be the Antichrist. This covenant is:  With “many” (not just Israel, but multiple nations). Seven years in duration (the “week” of years). Broken at the midpoint, when sacrifices in a rebuilt Temple are stopped.

This prophecy anticipates a peace agreement involving Israel and her neighbors that seems to promise stability but ends in betrayal.

It Is Important To Understand That The Seven Year Tribulation Begins With a Seven Year Peace Plan

Revelation chapter 6 describes the beginning of the Tribulation Period. The first three and a half years are the Tribulation; that last three and a half years are the Great Tribulation. When John writes Revelation 6:1-2, Jesus is opening the first of seven seals. As He opens the first seal we read:

Revelation 6:1-2 “Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”

This first seal starts the Tribulation by a man sitting on a white horse. He has a bow but no arrows. He goes out to conquer the world, not by force, but by peace. He is riding a white horse like Jesus will ride in Revelation chapter 19 when He returns to earth with His church at the end of the seven year Tribulation. This rider is like Jesus, but a false christ, an antichrist.

The Antichrist will not be revealed to the world until ‘2 Thessalonians 2:7 “He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” Currently the Holy Spirit is working through Jesus’ church to prevent the revealing of the antichrist. After Jesus removes His church at the beginning of the Seven Year Tribulation, the world will see this World-Leader who conquers by peace.

I am not saying that Donald Trump is the antichrist, only that at the present time he is accomplishing all of the peace plans that the antichrist will seek to obtain. We will have to wait and see who the antichrist is when he is revealed.

It may be that the antichrist will be present on earth before he is revealed to the world after the Rapture of Jesus’ church. He will be a peacemaker, working to unite the world under peace agreements.

United States Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, said the following about Trump’s ability to negotiate Peace Treaties with foreign leaders:

“President Trump is that the reason why Putin finally came to the table. The president has this uncanny ability to bend people to his sensible way of thinking. 
And he does it each and every time. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and I’ve been around some master deal makers. He is he is the legend, as far as I’m concerned. And, you know, his policy prescriptions are so pragmatic, so sensible, and in a distorted world, he he’s recalibrating it all. It’s simply remarkable. And every single leader that I’ve met in my travels, they say the same thing as I do. Every single one of them.” —An Interview with Sean Hannity, Tuesday, August 19, 2025

How These Current Events Connect A Peace Plan For Ukraine And Russia With Israel And Arab Nations:

Trump and European leaders pushing for peace talks with Russia and Ukraine is a demonstration of Western-led coalition diplomacy.  If this alliance of European leaders can bring Ukraine and Russian to a long term peace plan, (7 years?), it may be possible they could bring Israel and Arab nations together under a “comprehensive peace plan.”

Israel is already watching closely: instability in Europe and Eastern Europe shifts attention back to the Middle East as a pressure point of global peace.

A New Trend In Arab-Israeli Peace

Over the past decade, we’ve seen the Abraham Accords (2020) normalize relations between Israel, UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan. Saudi Arabia is now openly considering joining a peace plan.

These current peace meetings could be stepping-stones toward a larger, multi-party agreement involving Israel and many Arab nations. Daniel’s prophecy fits this trajectory perfectly: “a covenant with many.”

The Role of a Revived Roman Confederacy of Nations

Since the Antichrist comes from the revived Roman Empire (Daniel 7:24), then Europe (possibly with U.S. leadership) will play a central role in mediating the final peace. Remember that President Trump has his roots in European ancestry (German).

The fact that seven European leaders stood beside Trump and Zelenskyy this week is striking: it resembles the framework of international mediation that Daniel foresaw—a covenant confirmed by outside powers.

Israel may only accept a peace plan if it is guaranteed by the most powerful nations (U.S., Europe, perhaps Russia). Trump is being hailed as the most powerful man on earth, and accomplishing peace that no other man on earth could achieve.

Why This Monday Meeting Could Be a Precursor To The Peace Plan of Daniel 9:27

The precedent of multilateral guarantees: Ukraine negotiations hint at a security-guarantee model that could be applied to Israel and the Arab world.

The Prophetic Link: These peace negotiations with European leaders that are a part of the old Roman Empire footprint (Europe, U.S., Russia)—the source from which Daniel and Revelation say the Antichrist arises.

The Peace Processes: As more Arab states line up with normalization, the possibility of a grand covenant involving Israel, the Palestinians, and Arab nations increases.

The Monday meeting between Trump, Zelenskyy, and seven European leaders can be seen as a prototype of Daniel 9:27’s covenant diplomacy:

1. A coalition of Western powers negotiating peace between warring states.
2. A model for future “security guarantees” that could one day be applied to Israel and her neighbors.
3. The beginning of the final Antichrist-led covenant with many that will set the stage for the seven-year Tribulation.

Is It Presumptuous To Assign Current Events To The Fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy?

The Apostle John describes the events where Jesus fulfilled the Prophecies of Zechariah 9:9 and others, in his Gospel narrative:

John 12:14-16 “Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said: “Don’t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey’s colt.” His disciples didn’t understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into his glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about him.”

John writes that “His disciples didn’t understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy.”

When I was writing my book, “The Prophecies of the Messiah,” I noticed this attribute of Messianic Prophecy. The way that we can determine whether any event that took place when Jesus was here on earth was the fulfillment of a Messianic Prophecy is to go back to the Old Testament and find a prophecy that was fulfilled by Jesus in the New Testament.

This is what the Apostle John did when Jesus had fulfilled Zechariah 9:9: “Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey—riding on a donkey’s colt.”

John saw what Jesus had done, he looked up the prophecy in Zechariah 9 and realized that Jesus had been fulfilling what was written for the Messiah, about 400 years before Jesus arrived and fulfilled this event right before his eyes.

I am watching the current events that have been taking place in 2025 with great interest, because many things that have taken place so far—parallel what was written for the last of the Last Days. In May of this year, I began to compile these accumulating events and place them into a book that I published in June of 2025, “Days of Wrath: The Final Sign.”

I am watching to see what Trump will accomplish in this Peace Process Attempt, with great interest. Will The Israeli-Arab-Daniel 9:27 Peace Treaty Be Signed Before The Rapture?

I want to add that I am not sure that we will see a Peace Treaty with Israel and the Arab nations, before the Rapture of the church (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). We are seeing the man (Trump) that may be the world-leader that Daniel describes who makes his prophecy of 9:27, a reality. I think there is a very good chance that this treaty with Israel will be signed after the church is removed from earth.

When this seven year Peace Treaty is signed, according to the Prophet Daniel, this will begin the seven-year Tribulation. For the first three and a half years the antichrist will be hailed as a great world leader who has made peace, and allowed the Jews to rebuild their Third Temple at the Temple Mount Site in Jerusalem.

Three and one half years into the seven year Tribulation, an assassination attempt will be made that will kill the antichrist. Three days later he will be raised from the dead. At this moment satan will enter the antichrist and his reign of terror and murder will continue for the next three and one half years.

A final interesting fact: Daniel 9:24 is the prophecy of 70 weeks that will bring the Rapture of Jesus’ church. This year the Feast of Trumpets at it peak, will happen on 9-24-2025! Perhaps the signing of the Seven-Year Peace Treaty with Israel and the Arab nations will happen on 9-27-25, after Jesus removes His church from earth (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
