When a new world ruler makes his entrance onto the stage of human life in the last days, he will be unlike any man that has ruled before him. The Book of Revelation describes him as “the beast.” He will so captivate the attention of the world that they will marvel after him.
And all the world marveled and followed the beast…and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:4
For many years, I have wondered how this could happen. I had not seen a man during my life who had the abilities that are described by John in the 13th chapter of Revelation. That is, until I began to watch Donald Trump on television. Regardless of what he says or does, he seems to always come out on top. During the first presidential debate, hosted by Fox News, I was shocked by Mr. Trump’s unwillingness to pledge his full support to run only as a Republican candidate. Most people who saw this debate, came away thinking that this rebellion that we saw in Donald Trump would be his undoing. It did not happen that way at all. Today, Mr. Trump called for a national press conference and again, was given lengthy air time on the major networks. He announced that he had decided to sign a commitment to run only as a Republican, and once again, stole the fire from all the other’s who are also seeking to win the Republican nomination for president. Very quickly, every other candidate was compelled to follow Mr. Trumps example and sign their own commitments to run excessively as a Republican candidate. This made Mr. Trump appear as a leader and one who takes the initiative in difficult matters. Every other candidate appeared weak and unsure what to do, except follow Donald Trump.
Today, I am in Cebu City, Philippines, watching Donald Trump on CNN at a rally in Dallas Texas. All the news channels are covering this event, and people in increasing numbers, all over the United States are already conceding their votes to him.
Just 24 hours ago, we entered the Feast of Rosh Hashanah, when many people who study the Bible, believe that Jesus could return to remove His church from the earth. On the eve of the Feast of Tabernacles, September 28th, there will be a Super Blood Moon, the fourth of the Tetrad that began on Passover, 2014. These same experts also believe that we could enter the seven year Tribulation near the time of the Super Blood Moon. This would make Biblical sense, since the entire purpose of these seven years is for God to once again, deal with the nation of Israel. The prophecy of Daniel chapter 9, describes all the final prophecies that were given to Daniel, as specifically for the nation of Israel and her people.
What I find particularly interesting is the fact that if we are about to experience the Rapture of Jesus church and the beginning of the seven year tribulation, then this is the precise moment when we would also expect to see some kind of introduction to the world leader that will take center stage, immediately after the Rapture. We can only imagine the mass chaos that will ensue when suddenly a billion people disappear from the earth. In this case, Mr Trump would not simply be the next president of the United States, he would be the next president of the world.
Gloria Berger, of CNN, just said of Donald Trump: :”He is unlike anyone that we have ever seen.”
As I listen to Mr. Trump and marvel that so many are already saying the precise words that are attributed to the beast of Revelation, I wonder if this charismatic leader will be the antichrist that so much is written about? It is too late to know for certain. We will all just have to watch and wait.
