Knowing And Doing:

Knowing what to do and doing what you know are two completely different things. I have placed My Spirit in those who love Me so that they always know what is good and acceptable and what is not.

The difficulty is in doing what you know is right and making good choices that are righteous and holy. I have placed life and death in your hands, and you can live any way you choose. Anyone can choose to do wrong; it is the nature of man to walk a path of corruption.

If you want to rise above this world, and be someone truly special and set apart, choose righteousness. I derived My power and resurrection from My Holy conduct. I always did those things that pleased the Father and, in turn, My life was filled with joy, peace, and power.

People in the world think that by doing whatever they want, they are free. Slaves to sin are never free, and they cannot acquire the power that the righteous and pure possess.

Now that you know the truth, live the truth. Let the world see what it’s like to live under the shadow of My Grace and experience the power of a truly holy life.

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. ~James 4:17

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. ~Romans 12:2

Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. ~Romans 1:3-4

Jesus, it seems to me that everyone in this world wants to be like every other person. They want to fit in and belong, and go along with the crowd. I want to be different. I want to be like You, Lord.

Every word that came from Your mouth and all the things You did with Your life were good and holy. Help me make righteous choices for my life so that I become a treasure to You—a vessel of honor fit for Your service.

I have seen, in Your word, how those who chose a life of righteousness went on to incredible adventures and accomplished far more than those who lived the way the world lives.

I understand that, as God, it is Your Holy Nature that allows Your perfection and ability to do anything. You are unlimited and perfect because You chose to be set apart from sin and love righteousness. Help me to be like my Lord and live a life that is pleasing to You.
