Accept That Life Is Not Fair:

A mistake that people make is to imagine that this life should be fair. Remember that the world you are living in is broken. Sin has ruined everything. Until I return and eradicate this curse from the earth, human life will never be perfect.

I have a world planned for you and all those who love Me, that will be faultless. Everything you imagine earth could be, if people just loved each other, will happen once I return to rule over all human life.

For the time being, be patient. Once you chose to love Me and follow My ways, people are going to hate you. They will exclude you, treat you as insignificant, and accuse you of being ignorant, intolerant, and hypocritical. They do not understand what salvation is about, and they are offended that I have called the world “evil” and demanded that it repent.

Your prosperity and success are not measured by the standards of this world. If you set your heart on becoming prosperous in this world, and achieve it, you might live to regret it. Ask yourself only three questions: “Have I obeyed the Lord to receive Him? Is the Holy Spirit living in me? Am I living my life to glorify Jesus?” If the answer to these three is yes, then, in My eyes, you are successful regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, for My sake. Rejoice when it happens and be full of joy! It is certain that your reward in heaven is great. ~Luke 6:22-23 (RCR)

Jesus replied, “I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits upon his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life. But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then. ~Matthew 19:28-30 (NLT)

What happiness it is when others hate you and exclude you and insult you and smear your name because you are mine! When that happens, rejoice! Yes, leap for joy! For you will have a great reward awaiting you in heaven. ~Luke 6:22-23 (TLB)

Jesus, thank You for reminding me that in this world nothing will ever be fair. Cause me to understand what is truly important and disregard the opinions of this world. Help me seek my self-worth and acceptance from You only, and not from people in this world. I understand that Your love and knowledge of me is based upon what You see in my heart. People in this world cannot see who I am on the inside, and they judge me by what they think they know.

Thank You, Lord, that You know the truth and that You are pleased with me simply because I am trying to live for You and love You more every day.

Give me an understanding heart that accepts people not for what I see on the outside, but for who they can be on the inside once You come into their lives and make them new.
