The Collapse Of Morality In America Under The Guise Of Tolerance And Inclusion

An unintended consequence of accepting people who espouse immoral lifestyles, is the degradation of time-tested principles that bring stability and preservation of the foundation for human society, the family.

In recent years Americans have undergone a change in our foundational principles that has made our nation great and allowed our citizens to prosper: Christian biblical values have historically been the basis for how people treat each other, and the manner in which people should live their lives.

Today there is an attempted erosion of Christian values, and the teaching of the Bible, replaced by subjective morality and the opinions of people who live perverse lifestyles. In every culture of human history, when moral standards that are resident in the Bible are substituted for subjective morality, the collapse of those nations has resulted within a short period of time.

Regardless whether a person is a Christian or believes in God, the principles taught by Jesus and the scriptures, have had a profound effect upon the moral fabric of our nation. America began with the idea that the God of the Bible has established laws that ensure a decent human society. Built into the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution, the men who framed these documents were certain that the Law God first ordained for human society, would ensure its long term survival.

In nations where the perverse and deviant have forced their morality upon society, every part of that society has suffered increased violence, hatred, and evil.

Today in a historically conservative state, Arizona, a new form of governmental philosophy is inflicting its morality upon citizens. A board member from Arizona who describes herself as, “a bilingual, disabled, neurodivergent Queer Black Latina… who loves a good hot wing (but only with the right ranch) and things that sparkle,” is seeking to remove the influence of Christian values from Arizona government.

Wearing cat ears and bloviating her hatred of the principles taught in the Bible, Arizona school board member, Tamillia Valenzuela, says, “we should reject hiring teachers with Christian value as Not…safe.”

When the LGBTQ community began their attempts at being accepted by human society, they were content with the idea that they could live as they chose and have the same opportunities that other Americans have. This has developed today, into a complete assault upon American government, our school systems, the family, and the elimination of Christian values across our nation.

The mass confusion brought by the inclusion of biological males, as transgender females, has led to horrific crimes against young girls in schools and athletics in recent years. The assault continues in government where people in the LGBTQ community assert the statements of Tamillia Valenzuela:”While I full-heartedly believe in the religious freedom and people being able to practice whatever faith that they have…” Valenzuela then attacks Christian morality and seeks to substitute these foundational principles with the subjective morality of the LGBTQ community: “I think it’s a really good time for us to take a moment and really pause about where our values lie.”

Arizona school board member, Valenzuela, opposed a five year contract with Arizona Christian University, that allowed student teachers to attend this university for field experience. On February 23, 2023, the school board voted to dissolve this partnership with the Christian university, citing their Christian and biblical values as dangerous to Arizona school students.

In place of Christian principles that stipulate traditional family values and morality, Valenzuela stated, “My concerns, [is] when I go to Arizona Christian University’s website, [ they are] ‘committed to Jesus Christ, accomplishing his will and advancements on earth as in Heaven.’”

“Part of their values is… [to] ‘transform the culture with truth by promoting the Biblically-informed values that are foundational to Western civilization, including the centrality of family, traditional sexual morality, and lifelong marriage between one man and one woman,'” she said.

“I want to know how bringing [teachers] from an institution that is ingrained in their values so directly brings impact to three of your board members who are a part of the LGBT community.”

She added that the board recently added their pronouns at the dias as a solidarity move with the LGBT community.[1]

In other words, the LGBTQ community sees the historcal biblical values that have made America a great nation and allowed our prosperity, a threat to the lifestyle choices of same-sex and transgender persons. The promulgation of same-sex and transgender rights are demanded while the elimination of rights for a majority of other Americans, are impinged.

Genuine morality from God is immutable, unmovable; it is clear and easy to understand. Human morality constantly changes depending on current societal perspectives, which creates confusion. No one under human morality really knows what is right and wrong because it’s never the same. Popular opinion dictates secular morality, not a fixed standard.

The reason LGBTQ rights are given priority over traditional biblical moral values in the United States, is due to inaction by many Americans who do not want to be seen as intolerant. While the LGBTQ commuity demands tollerance, they are the most intolerant concerning the rights of conservative Christians.

In Order To Be Inclusive In American Society, We Do Not Have To Lower Our Moral Values Or Accept Perverse Idealism

After decades of eroding morality and a rise in secular humanism, we no longer possess the faith of our forefathers. Beginning in the fifties, the Christian church ceased from teaching its members the principles of the Bible. This resulted in a nation of individuals who did not know what God has said, nor what He requires. This famine of God’s word produced an eroding national morality, and the acceptance of abhorrent lifestyles that were formerly considered illegal or perverse. Under the guise of equal rights, an onslaught of court cases, sought legal recourse to redefine marriage and what America considers normal in sexual relationships.

During this same period, Colleges and Universities began to teach evolution as the reason for all life, resulting in the exclusion of God from government and educational institutions.

As same-sex relationships became acceptable to the American people, the insistence for more rights, to a wider group of alternative lifestyle and gender identities, has also increased. In April of 2016, a 16 year old North Carolina student, who was born a female but identifies as a male, sued the Gloucester County School Board that had created a policy the prohibited any student from using a restroom that is contrary to their biological sex. On April 19, 2016, a federal appeals court in Richmond, Virginia, gave permission for this case to go forward as a sexual discrimination lawsuit against the school board. According to the federal court, the basis of the case is Title IX of the Federal law that prohibits sex discrimination at schools that receive federal funding.

We are seeing an ever increasing movement by the LGBT advocates to demand that every phase of American culture; government, churches, business, and education, accept every abhorrent demand that is made to accommodate their chosen lifestyles. This movement towards a national acceptance of gays and lesbians as normal and acceptable in every phase of American society, began in 1962:

  • 1962: A change in national abortion law is advocated by the American Law Institute.
  • 1962: The earth began to make a pulse every 26 seconds, and scientists still don’t know why.[11.5] We do: “For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” ~ Romans 8:22
  • 1963: The national debt for the United States is $306 Million dollars, the GDP is $645 million. In 2015, the national debt will grow to over 18 Trillion dollars.
  • 1963: Lower court rules the Bible is no longer allowed in public schools. In Abington v. Schempp, the court ruled that no school board or state law had the right to require students to read Bible scriptures at the start of the school day.
  • 1963: Supreme court rules that prayer is not allowed in school. Madalyn Murray O’Hair founds The American Atheists. In Murray v. Curlett, the Supreme Court ruled 8 to 1 in favor of abolishing school prayer and Bible reading in the public schools.
  • 1965: Homosexual activists picket the White House and Pentagon. In San Francisco, gay activists conduct the first gay drag ball. The first gay community center opens in San Francisco.
  • 1965: Griswold v. Connecticut, the U.S. Supreme Court established that the U.S. Constitution guaranteed homosexuals the right to privacy though this was not explicitly stated in the Constitution.
  • 1966: Time Magazine declares that “God is Dead.”
  • 1967: The first gay campus group is formed at Columbia College in New York City.
  • 1967: The Summer of Love begins in San Francisco. One hundred thousand young people celebrate free love with no regard for the consequences.
  • 1967: The the addition of sociology and social psychology curriculum is placed into public schools.
  • 1969: A Gallup poll reveals that 68% of Americans believe that premarital sex was wrong and 21% said it was not. In 2009, forty years later, 32% stated that premarital sex was wrong and 60% declared that it is socially acceptable.
  • 1972: The topic of Abortion is discussed on the sitcom, Maude, Beatrice Arthur, has an abortion.
  • 1973: Feminist leader Gloria Steinem declares, “By the year 2000 we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in human potential, not God.”
  • 1973: In the Supreme Court decision; Roe v. Wade, abortion becomes legal in all states.
  • 1976: Parents and spouses are no longer included in the decision whether to have a baby aborted. Any teenager may have an abortion, without the knowledge or approval of the parents. A wife may abort her baby, without her husbands approval.
  • 1976: The Hyde Amendment prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for abortions.
  • 1977: The Hyde Amendment is amended due to objections from the ACLU, to include pregnancies that were the result of rape or incest.
  • 1980: In Stone v. Graham, the Ten Commandments are no longer allowed in any state or federal building.
  • 1981: Arkansas passes a law requiring that Creation must be taught alongside Evolution in public schools. The Supreme Court determines that this law is unconstitutional. Evolution only is taught in public schools.
  • 1984: The first domestic partner law is enacted in Berkeley, California.
  • 1986: California grants the first lesbian couple, joint adoption rights.
  • 1986: All restrictions on abortion are removed in a four court decision: with Thornburg v. American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
  • We kill millions of unborn children each year for the sake of convenience or as an irresponsible form of birth control.[12] Only one in ten of all abortions performed worldwide are done to save the life of the mother or in the case of a rape.[13] The other nine children are murdered for the sake of convenience, because of the selfishness and sinful acts of human beings.
  • 1987: The Gay and Lesbian Caucus of the National Education Association is established

The United States was founded upon the belief that God has called us as a nation, and that our liberty was given to us from God. If we remove our conviction that God is the source of our nation, and begin to act in ways that are contrary to His laws, we will experience His wrath.

The Bible is clear that no nation exists apart from the sovereignty of God and no people may remain free unless they believe—in and honor God.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. —Romans 13:1

It is a common error amongst those who are uninformed, that the United States was founded as a secular nation. In fact, when we examine the founding documents of the nation, we find that the entire purpose of our break from Britain, was to become a Christian nation, under the God of the Bible.

King George III, of Britain had declared that when he spoke, it was with the voice of God. It was with this belief that he felt that Britain had the right to dictate to the people of the new land of America, that their obedience was to the king of England and his laws, only.

The motto of the American Revolution declared that they would have “No King but King Jesus.” Benjamin Franklin frequently stated during the revolution against Britain: “Rebellion to Tyrants, is Obedience to God.”

The entire purpose of our war with Britain and the seeking our independence, was to secure laws for our nation, based upon the laws of God, and to exist as people who are governed according to the dictates of the Bible. Notice the specific text in the introduction to the Declaration of Independence:

“When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, 1. the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that 2. all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 3. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That 4.whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

  1. The basis of law for the United States was “the laws of nature and nature’s God.”
  2. These laws are created for all men, and come to us from God as our Creator.
  3. In order to institute these laws that come from God, government is established.
  4. When any government becomes destructive in not following the laws of God, the people have the right to abolish that government and start a new government.

The purpose of this Declaration of Independence was necessitated because of the actions of the king of England, who said that he was acting in the place of God and had the right to institute laws himself. The war that took place between the newly formed nation of America, and Britain, was to establish a new government, based upon he laws of God and not those from a king, nor any man.

The framers of the Declaration of Independence stated that the rights which are a part of the new nation that they were founding, came to all men, by their “Creator.” Further stating, these rights are “self-evident.” These men believed that the God of the Bible exists, and that He is the source of all creation. They believed that the right of liberty and freedom from government oppression and tyranny, were rights bestowed to the citizens of America—by God. They declared that this fact is self-evident, meaning that God’s existence and His intention to make men free is clear, obvious, and manifested by the existence of the universe itself. It was because they believed in the God of the Bible, that they took the laws for America from the laws of nature and nature’s God.

An individual’s immutable biological sex is objectively determined by anatomy, physiology, or genetics at or before birth. A person may determine that they wish to be known by an alternative gender, but this does not void their biological gender identity.

Government and society is not obligated to grant special rights or privileges to those who change their biological sex. The Constitution already protects the civil rights of males and females. It was never the intent of the framers of the Constitution to grant special protection or civil rights to a new class of persons that is not supported by their biological identity.

When transgender individuals demand special rights for themselves because they personally identify as a sex other than that of their birth, they often infringe upon the rights of other persons. In the case of public restrooms, a person who is biologically a man and demands access to public restroom designated for females, violates the right of privacy and safety for females who use these facilities.

This example is one of many that arise when special rights are given to persons who change their gender identity. In every case, the rights of other persons must be impinged in order to grant special rights to those who change their birth gender.

The framers of the Constitution were well aware that homosexual and lesbian persons existed in their society. It was never the intention of the Constitution to grant special rights to these individuals. To the contrary, Thomas Jefferson wrote and spoke in opposition to these persons as violators of the laws that govern human behavior. When the government of the United States was founded, homosexuality was considered a capital offense.[5] In all of the original thirteen colonies and later, all fifty of the United States, sodomy was punished by severe penalties with several states invoking a sentence of death, such as New York, Vermont, Connecticut, and South Carolina.[6] Thomas Jefferson authored a bill that called for dismemberment as the punishment for sodomy in the state of Virginia.[7]

It is impossible to assert that the Constitution of the United States intended that persons who change their biological identity should be granted special protection.

It really could not be any clearer than has already been stated in the most famous of all American founding documents; The Declaration of Independence. The Founding Fathers were primarily Christian men, who believed in God and were seeking to found a nation that could enjoy the freedoms that God intended for all people. For this reason, the laws which make up the Constitution, came from the basic principles of God’s law, as found in the Bible. If we examine the laws that God has declared for mankind, we see that the laws of the United States, closely parallel what God has ordained for all people.

There are thousands of other documents from the founding fathers that further define the purpose for our nation’s original purpose. The opening words of the Declaration of Independence is the most familiar language that many people have seen for themselves. If we just read the text of this document and let their words define for themselves, the purpose for this declaration, it is clear that the United States of America was founded as a Christian Nation, with its laws coming from the Bible, the laws of God.

“I do not believe that the Constitution was the offspring of inspiration, but I am as satisfied that it is as much the work of a Divine Providence as any of the miracles recorded in the Old and New Testament.”[8]

In order to maintain the moral fabric of America, there must be a standard that is higher than human feelings and emotions. Certain aspects of human life are immutable and have no need of adaptability in each subsequent generation. Truth never changes and the truth declared in the Bible comes from a source that is transcendent human wisdom.
