In an essay from Scientific American, a PhD in social psychology from Yale University, and researcher at the Stanford School of Medicine, said:

“Atheists are one of the most disliked groups in America. Only 45 percent of Americans say they would vote for a qualified atheist presidential candidate, and atheists are rated as the least desirable group for a potential son-in-law or daughter-in-law to belong to.”[1]

In this scientific study, Will Gervais, PhD at the University of British Columbia, asked participants about a scenario in which someone accidentally hits a car parked, but does not leave a note for the owner of the damaged car.

The participants were asked to choose between a list of persons who were Christian, Muslim, a rapist, or an atheist. All of the participants stated equally that they believed the likely person who did this was either an atheist or a rapist. They also said that they believed in was unlikely the person was a Muslim or Christian.[2]

Atheists Are Responsible For A Majority Of School Shootings

In the period from 1998-2018, there were 69 school shootings in the United States, all but four were committed by atheists. The four killers not specifically identified as atheists, claimed to be Christians. Upon investigation, these four individuals were Christian in name only, not as genuine Biblical Christians defined by Jesus in John 3:3, as “born again,” and possessing the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.[3]

UPDATE: December 31, 2022. Police have arrested PhD student, Bryan C. Kohberger, 28, for the brutal murders of four college students in Idaho. Kohlberger is described as an atheist intellect with clear characteristics of a sociopath.

The four students who were murdered are, Ethan Chapin, 20; Xana Kernodle, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, stabbed to death November 13, 2022.

In several peer reviewed papers published in academic journals, the conclusions have been consistent that a majority of people in human society hold atheists primarily responsible for capital crimes and feel it is likely that most serial killers are atheists.[4]

So much for the claim by atheists that one does not need God in order to be a moral person. Scientific research confirms that a majority of atheists are neither moral, nor held as good people by the majority of people in the world.

In the past 2,000 years nearly 70 million Christians have been murdered by atheists; two-thirds of these occurred in the past 100 years, primarily by the atheist Soviet Union as well as atheist communist China and Nazi Germany.[5]

A Majority of Hospitals, Charitable Organizations and Acts of Compassion in Feeding and Healing the Poor, are Instituted and Conducted by Christians Around the World.

In an essay published by the National Library of Medicine, it has been documented that over 70 percent of all healthcare in developing countries, is provided by people who are followers of Jesus.[6]

In 2013 a super-Typhoon struck a tiny island in which I had been working to feed and provide medical care for the poor. This was the most destructive Typhoon in the history of the Philippines, killing over 6,300 people.[7]

Every home on the isolated island I lived at that time was devastated. Many Christians began rebuilding homes for the poor over the next year and we successfully completed the rebuilding of over half those destroyed. In all of that time not a single atheist organization came to help us. Not a single atheist organization gave money to help provide materials to rebuild homes, provide medicine, or provide food for those decimated.

Two years after the Super-Typhoon, when the island had been rebuilt, many atheists came to our island in order to take advantage of the poor young women on our island—desperate for a better life. Many of these young women were left abandoned, pregnant, with no source of support.

I have seen firsthand how the scourge of atheism has decimated human life. I have seen with my eyes, the care, love, and compassion of Christians around the world in coming to the aid of the poor, the destitute, and the suffering.

The Stunning Evidence Of America’s Moral Decline

Sometimes when events are spread over great expanses of time, we hardly notice a change. Only when we take time to examine the facts of past events in history, do we begin to understand how we arrived at where we are today.

The final part of this essay depicts some of the events that have taken place since 1962, when prayer was removed from American schools. Beginning with this crucial date, we follow the events that have taken place during the last 60 years which have lead our nation along a consistent path towards moral decline.

The great number of deaths that have occured because of gun violence by atheists at our schools, is due to our national movement away from the God of the Bible. This did not commence until God had been removed from our schools, and the Bible was no longer being taught in our churches. The removal of God from the consciousness of Americans, gave birth to increased atheism that spread all over the world.

Does morality matter? Is it important how the people of a nation live? Is it progressive to be inclusive of all lifestyles that people demand? Can the moral fiber of a nation be so eroded that the entire system will eventually collapse? Surprisingly we find that many great civilizations before America have followed the same course the United States is currently on and they no longer exist as a nation today.

When a Nation Forgets God

One of the stunning developments that has gone largely unnoticed in the secular world is the massive movement away from faith in God and the Bible. Today the United States is no longer a nation that contains a majority of people who believe in and follow Jesus Christ. After decades of secular humanism and atheism in our colleges and universities, the resulting graduates, who now permeate American society, no longer have the Christian faith of our forefathers.

This is seen most clearly in the rapid changes that have taken place in America since 1962.

Our abandonment of God, as a nation and people, began in 1962 when prayer in school came under criticism.[9]

1962: The end of school prayer. In Engle v. Vitale, the Supreme Court reinterpreted the First Amendment’s protection of religion as a right of free exercise because of complaints from parents. The following is the prayer that parents objected to: “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our country. Amen.”[10]

1962: A change in the national abortion law is advocated by the American Law Institute.

1963: The national debt for the United States is $306 Million dollars, the GDP is $645 million. In 2015, the national debt will grow to over 18 Trillion dollars.

1963: A Lower Court rules that the Bible is no longer allowed in public schools. In Abington v. Schempp, the court determined that no school board or state law had the right to require students to read Bible scriptures at the start of the school day.

1963: The Supreme Court rules that prayer is not allowed in school. Madalyn Murray O’Hair founds “The American Atheists.” In Murray v. Curlett, the Supreme Court ruled 8 to 1 in favor of abolishing school prayer and Bible reading in public schools.

1965: Homosexual activists picket the White House and Pentagon. In San Francisco, gay activists conduct the first gay drag ball. The first gay community center opens in San Francisco.

1965: Griswold v. Connecticut; the U.S. Supreme Court established that the U.S. Constitution guaranteed homosexuals the right to privacy, though this right is not explicitly stated in the Constitution.

1966: Time Magazine declares that “God is Dead.”

The True Source of All Gun Violence

Gun violence committed by primarily atheists, is no accident. According to Jesus and the New Testament, this present world is under the limited authority of satan. It is from his rulership of this current, fallen world, that men and women are taken captive and used to carry out his vicious acts.

Jesus said that satan is “the ruler” of this world:

“Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.” ~John 12:31

When God created the earth He gave dominion of our planet to Adam. Adam lost his dominion of earth to satan when Adam joined Eve in rebellion against what God had said. Since the fall of man satan has remained the “ruler of this world.” This is the reason that there is so much evil, violence, and death on earth.

When Jesus died on the cross, He won the right to take back rulership of the earth and rule over it as God once again. Jesus delayed His rulership since He died and rose again, in order to give the world time to hear what He has done, and that salvation is available to everyone who sincerely repents from their sins and commit their entire life to Jesus as their Savior.

For the past 2,000 years we have been living during the time God allowed, that people can hear what Jesus has done for them, and believe upon Him for their salvation. When the last person is saved during this limited time, the end will come. Jesus will come for His church and the world will begin the Tribulation period.

When Jesus returns to earth again with His church at the end of the seven year Tribulation, He will set up His kingdom on earth. There will be no more evil, sickness, suffering or death on earth, and satan and his demons will be taken to their prison in Hell.

Paul wrote that in this present time satan gathers people who reject God and seek to live as atheists and humanists. The eyes of these persons are blinded by satan, and they are not able to understand that they have been taken captive to do the will of the devil.

“satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” ~2 Corinthians

“That they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.” ~2 Timothy 2:26

Every person who rejects Jesus and turns inwardly to self and the things of this world, become a target for satan to capture their mind and make them a slave to his will. Atheists say they do not believe God exists; they also do not believe satan exists. This is precisely what the devil wants people to believe.

Every person who sincerely turns from their sins and trusts in Jesus as their Savior, is “born again” by the Spirit of God (John 3:3). These persons are given the gift of the Holy Spirit who comes to live in them (Acts 2:38). Because the Spirit of the Living God, lives in every believer, satan and every demon, have no power over anyone who belongs to Jesus (1 John 5:18). This protection is not given to the unbeliever. They are open targets for satan and the demons to do whatever they like with these persons. This is one of the reasons that all of the horrific murders of children in schools, has been done by atheists.

Demonic possession in atheists is a common link to many modern cases of mental illness. This was the case in the first century when Jesus cast out demons from non-believers, who exhibited many symptoms of mental illness that were actually caused by demonic possession. After Jesus commanded the demons to leave these person, their minds were perfectly normal (Luke 8:2: ἀσθένεια astheneia.).

William Bennett is one of the most brilliant intellectuals of our age. He was the U.S. Secretary of Education from 1985-88, and the associate Dean of education for Boston University. The following perspective from Bill Bennett on the serious issue of atheism, and the demonic influence perpetrated upon the young men who commit this heinous gun violence, is an important consideration.

There is no protection from satan or his demons, for anyone who is an atheist or humanist.

Without being aware, every atheists and humanist who rejects the God of the Bible, is currently doing exactly what satan wants. We see this illustrated vividly in the modern militant atheist. In the 47 years that I have been a Christian, teaching the Bible to people all over the world, I have never seen, in the past, the virulent words and actions of militant atheists today.

This is an indication that the final days of the “Last days” that began when Jesus arrived the first time, are upon us. We are at the very precipice of Jesus’ return as I write these words.

After Jesus removes His church from earth at the event described by the Koine-Greek as “the Harpazo,” from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, the seven year Tribulation will begin. After every believer who loves Jesus is removed from earth, a great deception will ensue by satan to cause people to believe, what the New Testament describes as, “the lie.” This deception will be caused by the arrival of the antichrist, just after Jesus’ church is removed from earth:

“Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming. This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe the lie. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.” ~2 Thessalonians 2:8-12

Paul wrote that before the time of Tribulation begins, first there will be a great falling away from trust in Jesus, by many millions. Most of these persons will be pretend believers who never were born again by the Spirit of God in the first place. These false believers will not be taken at the Harpazo, and they will be left on earth during the seven year Tribulation.

In the past five years, there has been the largest movement away from Christ, I have ever seen in the nearly five decades I have been teaching the Bible. This is the primary sign for we who wait for the return of Jesus: many millions will depart from Jesus and become atheists.

This event will run parallel with a great time of deception, as atheist and progressive scholars state in their books and essays, that the Bible is not reliable or truthful. I have published several books and essays describing this massive deception by atheist scholars.

The falling away; the deception; the movement towards a new world leader who will captivate the world, are the final events that will take place at the beginning of the seven year Tribulation. At the midpoint of the seven years, the seven seals described in the Book of Revelation will be opened, and two-thirds of the people on earth will die by twenty-one judgments.

During these final three and one-half years of the Great Tribulation, any person who decides to turn from their sins and unbelief and trust in Jesus, will be killed by the antichrist. This is why it is so important to make a firm decision for Jesus now, before the Harpazo takes place.

Everyone who trust in Jesus in this present time, will be spared from the seven year Tribulation.

The dramatic increase in gun violence at our schools all over the United States, is a stunning and clear sign that we are in the final days of this present world. The time to turn from sin and trust fully in Jesus, is now. I pray you will not wait to make this decision for Christ before it is too late and the world enters the seven year Tribulation.
