The Book: “New Testament Apologetics” Is Free For A Limited Time

Robinson Presents Historical Eyewitness And Non-Biblical Literary Evidence That Proves The New Testament Narratives About Jesus Are Absolutely True and Reliable (FREE BEGINNING AT 12 MIDNIGHT APRIL 1)

Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence

We have extraordinary evidence for the existence of God in the arrival of Jesus on earth. The men who saw Jesus with their eyes and heard Him with their ears recorded His words and actions. There are 203 eyewitness statements in the 260 chapters of the New Testament. Jesus claimed to be Yahweh, the Eternal God who created all that exists. Jesus proved He is God by thousands of miracles only possible by God, 9 of these miracles display extreme control over the physical laws.

In the 24 chapters of this book, we will examine the evidence that exists to impeach these primary assertions leveled against the New Testament. The following 21 arguments in chapters 3-23 are the most often stated objections from critics you will hear against the New Testament. Each of these arguments is met with an apologia (defense) that proves what is written about Jesus in the New Testament is the best and most visible evidence for the existence of God and the reliability of the Bible.

This book contains 21 of the primary arguments that atheists, progressives, and critics present to refute the existence of God, the Bible, and the Historical narratives about Jesus in the New Testament.

1. “The New Testament was not written by eyewitnesses”

This is perhaps the easiest claim to impeach because the actual texts of the New Testament contain 203 statements by the writers in which they say they are eyewitnesses and saw all of the things they have recorded for us.

This evidence is presented throughout this book.

2. “The Synoptic Gospels were written late in the first century”

In many of the books written by atheist New Testament scholars, the idea that men who never saw Jesus contrived the narratives of the New Testament, is a very popular argument claimed by critics today. The problem for their side of this issue is that there is no evidence anywhere that the Synoptic Gospels of the New Testament, were written late in the first century.

The internal texts, statements, and external secular events of that period refute the idea of late-date writing for the Synoptic narratives.

3. “The Gospels were written anonymously”

The claim that a literary work of antiquity is of no value, nor can it be trusted, simply because the author may not have placed their name on the document, is without merit.

There are hundreds of secular works from antiquity that do not have the author’s name—while being considered absolutely reliable.

I will present evidence in this book that we do know who the writers are and, if they did omit their names, this is forensic evidence of honest men who sought the glory of Jesus and not themselves.

4. “Paul never saw the risen Jesus”

There are 10 citations in the New Testament where Paul and others say that he saw the risen Jesus with his own eyes.

Beyond the evidence to prove that Paul saw Jesus, secular history and internal evidence within the texts proves that Paul was one of the eyewitnesses Jesus chose to tell the world in written form all that He said and did.

5. “The New Testament is filled with contradictions”

You will learn in this book, that what atheists assert as a contradiction is not. This book presents evidence that proves that there are no contradictions in the New Testament.

First, you will learn what constitutes a genuine contradiction and how the writers of the New Testament, in their own statements, never wrote a single sentence that is in contradiction with any of the other writers.

Second, you will see how critics twist the scriptures to make them seem to be contradictions when the clear reading of the texts demonstrates that no contradictions exist.

6. “There is no contemporaneous, secular evidence for Jesus”

Whenever I hear an atheist state this, I am always amazed at how little knowledge they have of history.

This is one of the easiest assertions to overcome because there are over 130 secular, contemporaneous citations in the record of history that cite Jesus as crucified, risen from the dead, and present in Israel during the same period of history that the New Testament places Him there.

7. “The texts of the New Testament have been changed”

When I show you what atheist scholars cite as “changes” to the texts, you will be amazed. Every allegation of an altered or abused text for the New Testament, which changes the narrative of Jesus from its original events, is nothing more than conjecture.

I will show you the actual texts that are asserted as changed, and you will immediately learn that this is a ruse created by critics to cause unsuspecting readers to distrust the New Testament.

There is not a single place where the texts are changed in any way that would impugn the total narrative about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

8. “The New Testament is filled with errors”

When atheist New Testament scholars say that the New Testament is filled with errors, what they mean is that one word misspelled in several thousand manuscripts is several thousand errors.

Any person with absolutely no training whatsoever can see that these are all contrived claims made by disingenuous scholars for the purpose of maligning the texts. There are no genuine errors that would prevent us from understanding the narrative about Jesus.

9. “The New Testament is not a valid historical narrative”

One of the unfounded claims that many atheists will tell you is that the narratives about Jesus in the New Testament are not historical, they are merely myths.

One of the first ventures I made in my education of the New Testament was to use the modern techniques of higher and lower literary criticism for the New Testament.

When these techniques and forensic methods are used to test the historical reliability of the New Testament, we find that the texts meet and exceed every requirement established to validate the texts as truthful and genuine historical events.

10. “Jesus never claimed to be God”

Not a day goes by that I do not hear this claim, made by atheists, progressives, and cult-church advocates.

I will present you with conclusive evidence, that Jesus made it a primary point in all four of the Gospels to teach the world that He is Yahweh-God from the Old Testament.

This is accomplished by a thorough examination of the Koine Greek texts, and the specific statements that Jesus made about Himself, as well as the statements of the men and women who knew Him well.

The entire Old Testament states that when the Messiah comes to earth, He will be Yahweh in the body of a man.

11. “The disciples of Jesus were illiterate”

The idea that Jesus chose men to be His witnesses who were illiterate and unable to write and record what they saw, is preposterous.

The texts of the New Testament present us with tremendous evidence that these men were not only capable of writing and recording what they saw and heard but in many instances, they were scholars.

In Peters’s dissertation of Jesus as the Messiah in Acts 2-4, he recites 25 Old Testament references to the Messiah, and correctly applies them to Jesus.

The certainty that the men who saw Jesus—wrote what they saw, is also confirmed by the Old Testament prophets. These men recorded that when the Messiah arrives on earth, the men who see and hear Him will record their testimony for the world.

12. “There is no historical evidence for Jesus’ resurrection”

Very early in my education concerning the New Testament manuscript evidence, I began to hear this unfounded assertion.

You will discover in this book that the resurrection of Jesus was one of the most documented and recorded events in all of antiquity. Even the secular records of the Romans and the Jews document Jesus in Israel, doing all of the same things that were recorded in the extant manuscripts evidence of the New Testament.

The preserved historical, secular texts of both the Romans and the Jews corroborate that Jesus was crucified and risen from the dead.

13. “The Gospel writers copied each other”

If you study the comments made by critics of the Bible, you very quickly learn that those who claim to be scholars, often don’t even know what the biblical texts say.

When we carefully examine the texts that are asserted as copied, we find that the writers of the Synoptic Gospels cite many of the same events, while including details the others do not. This becomes evidence that impeaches the idea that they simply copied each other.

There is adequate unanimity between these witnesses to demonstrate corroboration, but sufficient variation in their details and particular differences in the accounts to eliminate the certainty of collaboration.

In other words, there is evidence in the texts that the writers of the Gospels corroborated with each other the true accounts of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, but there is also tremendous evidence that they did not collaborate or fabricate their narratives based solely on what the other writers recorded.

You will see how the Synoptic Gospels tell the same story of Jesus, while the individual writers include, or exclude, specific details that others do not record. This is forensic evidence that the four Gospels are all independent narratives by four different writers, who all saw the same events.

14. “A majority of scholars confirm that the New Testament is not true”

Critics of the Bible frequently claim that there is general agreement or a “consensus” among scholars, that a particular part of the New Testament is not true. When we examine who these scholars are we find that they are men and women who began their examination of the Bible with the idea that it was not true. Beginning with conclusions based on their cognitive bias against God and the Bible, they write criticism against the reliability of the New Testament texts.

Only about twenty percent of all New Testament scholars are atheists or progressives who don’t believe the Bible is all true. The other eighty percent are scholars who affirm God as the author, and all of the Bible as accurate and reliable.

When you speak with an atheist or progressive who argues the reliability of the New Testament, they will often give you the impression that the entire community of scholars believes that the New Testament is not reliable. This is not true. It is only a small minority of atheist and progressive scholars who hold these views of unreliability. You will see a list of these persons in chapter 16.

15. “Eyewitness testimony is not reliable”

I have heard this assertion on hundreds of occasions. Atheists pass this false information to each other, and they will tell you that even if the men who wrote their testimony about Jesus did see Him, their testimony as eyewitnesses is not reliable.

In matters of criminal law, eyewitness testimony is not considered reliable. However, in matters of historical events, the testimony of an eyewitness is one of the highest levels of confirmation for literary historical events.

16. “Bart Ehrman is a reliable scholar”

In this publication, I will provide you with numerous pieces of evidence that demonstrate atheist New Testament scholar, Bart Ehrman, is not a reliable source for true information regarding the New Testament.

17. “Moses did not write the first 5 books of the Bible”

One of the tactics used by atheists and critics of the New Testament is the assertion that the Pentateuch was not written by Moses. The tactic employed to try and prove this idea is twofold: One, the writing style of the first five books of the Bible, allegedly indicates that more than one person penned these texts. Second, the conjecture that there was no known alphabet in existence at the time Moses is alleged to have written these texts. This book presents the historical and archeological evidence that impeaches these assertions.

18. “Modern New Testament Criticism proves that the New Testament is a fabrication”

In this book, I will show you several examples of actual statements made by modern atheist and progressive New Testament scholars, who assert that a consensus of modern scholars has determined the texts written about Jesus were fabricated.

One of the claims made by these modern critical scholars is the idea that eighty-five percent of all that Jesus is alleged to have said in the New Testament, He never said. Of course, this claim is merely the opinion of scholars who don’t believe the New Testament is true in the first place.

I will show you how historical literary evidence that is available today, proves that everything written about Jesus in the New Testament, is true.

19. “There Are Discrepancies In The Bible”

What atheists call “discrepancies” are evidence of ineptness or willing ignorance by these critics. There are no discrepancies in the New Testament.

I will show you examples of what atheist scholars assert as discrepancies, demonstrating that their knowledge of the texts is severely lacking. Any sincere person who simply studies the 27 books of the New Testament can immediately distinguish the events recorded in the New Testament, as genuine historical accounts.

20. “There Is No Evidence For God”

One of the reasons that I wrote this book, and several others in my career, is to demonstrate by evidence that God does exist. One of the primary proofs for the existence of God is the testimony of the men who saw and heard Jesus, who recorded that He is the Eternal God who created all that exists. Three conclusive truths present us with valid evidence that God does exist. In this book, we will examine these three sources for evidence.

21. Atheists Who Claim: “I was Once a Christian.

One of the claims made by leading atheist New Testament scholar, Bart Ehrman, is that he was once an evangelical Christian who learned, by education, that the New Testament is not true.

This claim is impeached by Jesus and Paul in the texts of the New Testament, where the test for a true Christian is measured by facts that fully impeach Ehrman’s assertions and all those who seek to use education as the reason for their atheism.

The conclusions of New Testament Criticism are determinative: The narratives about Jesus are truthful, accurate, and reliable

By the conclusion of this book, these 21 claims made by critics of God and the Bible, are fully impeached by substantial evidence. As a student of Apologetics and one who is interested in acquiring evidence to prove the New Testament narratives are valid and trustworthy, you will be well equipped to defend the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The New Testament is the most beautifully written, most honestly recorded, most relevant narrative, in all the history of the world. Everything written in these 27 letters is all true, and the evidence I will present to you in this book is sufficient to convince any honest and reasonable person that what has been written and preserved for us in the historical record, can be trusted.

God promised the world a Savior in the texts of the Old Testament. Jesus came into the world and His life, death, and resurrection are recorded for us in the texts of the New Testament. All that the prophets wrote about the Messiah, Jesus has fulfilled. There is forgiveness of all sins, and eternal life for all who repent and believe in Jesus for all of their life.

In the new book: “New Testament Apologetics,” Robert Clifton Robinson systematically dismantles these false claims.

  1. Paul asked each of us, in Ephesians 6:10-20, to put on the Armor Of God. Satan uses many who are blind and suffering from a God given delusion, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, to attack each of us from all perspectives.

One of these perspectives is a technique called Gas Lighting where the Satan atheist gaslighter tries to manipulate their victim, Christians included, into questioning their own beliefs or sanity. This book will show you the truth behind the atheist’s tactics and techniques. Understanding the concepts that Pastor Rob exposes here will build your faith tremendously, and, will help you explain the truth the atheist attacker; potentially saving their life.

TRUE STORY: I was in an online discussion with an atheist on Quora who suggested in one of his attacks that the Bible contained scripture stating that the Earth was the center of the universe; thus, everything in the universe revolved around the Earth. He literally said that. So I had to remind him that he was describing the Geocentric Theory, not a concept of the Bible, which was introduced by faithless scientists in the 4th century BCE. I could only assume that he made the statement because of what happen between Galileo and the Catholic Church. It did not appear to me that he was aware that no church existed at the time this theory was introduced; nor, did the Catholic Church embrace it until the 12 Century AD some 1600 years later. So this atheist tried to gaslight me into believing the church, and thus the Bible, contained scientifically proven falsities. My rebuttal to him was that the falsity originated in bad science; 1much like the false science of Evolution and the N>1 Multiverse. This atheists has yet to respond to my rebuttal. I asked him a series of rebuttal questions that I learnt from reading Pastor Rob’s book The Universe That Proves God.

So we must learn the tactics of the our great enemy Satan and how he uses false gods, idolatry and blinded people to achieve his aims. Remember what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 8:6 and Acts 17:23.

Atheists are only interested in winning arguments. I am convinced of that. Christians are interested in expressing the truth of Jesus Christ; which nowadays, involves the idolatry of (False) Science and how we must understand it to ward off Satan’s attacks – just like Paul did in the two verses mentioned above.

The Lord our God has prepared a great meal of the choicest meats and the finest drink for we believers. Pastor Rob, God bless you my brother, has served this meal to each us for free on fine China and silver cutlery. Bon appétit. The meal is free at this moment. Pastor Rob has laid out the menu above. Please good get a copy of this wonderful work.

I recommend this book to all because knowing this information may help save your life; as well as, potentially save someone else’s life – the atheist you know …

    God Bless All.

    The Beginning is Near.
