The world has reached a pinnacle of crisis in which the annihilation of North Korea may be imminent. Being that North Korea has repeatedly claimed they have the capacity to launch a nuclear tipped Intercontinental Ballistic Missile at the United States or Guam, and have achieved the capacity to affix a Thermonuclear Device (Hydrogen Bomb) to an ICBM, how does the world know at this point if a missile test is really just a test or is an actual launch of a nuclear tipped ICBM? The answer, is of course, is we do not know.
This reality has placed the United States and its allies in a precarious situation. Do we continue to allow North Korea the ability to test missiles or do we take action to stop these launches with the thought that they may contain a real nuclear device?
Of course, these are the genuine thoughts of the United States military and are likely the narrative that the Joint Chiefs of the U.S. are currently weighing.
It is a certainty that the U.S. Military forces are preparing for this scenario and the likely event that a first strike against North Korea to destroy their capacity to launch a missile again. The unknown nature of these launches places the world in a real threat that necessitates the prohibition of any further launches. If the world permits North Korea the continued testing of missiles while being aware that any one of these ICBM’s could contain a nuclear device, we make ourselves fools.
When we consider what this means, we realize that an attack on North Korea by a massive strike by the United States must be already in the works. There is no possibility that the U.S. can permit another launch from North Korea, towards the United States, Guam or any other ally. To do so, would jeopardize the lives of millions of people.
On Sunday, September 3, 2017, Defense Secretary James Mattis issued the following warning to North Korea:
“Any threat to the United States or its territory, including Guam, or our allies, will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming,” Mattis told reporters in the White House driveway. “Kim Jong Un should take heed in the United Nations Security Council”s unified voice.
“All members unanimously agreed on the threat North Korea poses and they remain unanimous in their commitment to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. Because we are not looking to the total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea, but as I said we have many options to do so.”
The text of this speech is a stunning revelation. The veiled words: ” Because we are not looking to the total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea, but as I said we have many options to do so,” is an indication that Defense Secretary James Mattis is warning Pyongyang that any aggression against the United States or its allies, would cause a unified world response and the “total annihilation of a North Korea. What many have not realized is that this would include any further launches of ICBM’s for the purpose of testing North Korea’s capabilities. Since we have no way of knowing if one of these missiles has a nuclear device, the United States will take any further launch as an act of war or first strike against the United States and respond with overwhelming force to annihilate North Korea.
