An Example Of Atheist Logic

One of the consistent principles that I see repeatedly amongst atheists, is their recurring attempts at presenting logic that backfires and proves that they are not really as intelligent as they assert.

About a month ago, I began producing videos for a new YouTube channel in an effort to start a dialogue with persons of similar interests. To my surprise, the largest response that I received, was from atheists.

Without exception, atheists really believe that they are more highly educated and smarter than people who believe in God. I have had these words spoken to me on several occasions. It is their idea that an education makes them better able to navigate false ideas from truth.

I happen to agree that education is critical, only differing on the source of the education. Gaining the letters Ph.D. after a persons name, does not grant them greater intellectual capacity when it concerns the things of God.

These individuals think that it does, but in reality and actual practice, it is never true. The precepts and principles of the Bible have their origin in a source that is transcendent of earth, time, space, and matter. God has always been alive and His wisdom and perfection are unlimited and beyond compare.

The things that God has said to us in the Bible, are not the wisdom of man. In fact, very often, they are completely in opposition to what men hold to be true.

In the book of 1 Corinthians, Paul writes that “the wisdom of men is foolishness to God.” For this reason, God chose the cross of Jesus as the method to save us, specifically because it drives the intellectual people of this world crazy.

The Cross makes no sense to people who don’t know God, nor understand His word.

It is a fact that God hides Himself from those who believe that they are far too intelligent to believe that God exists.

The following screen capture is from a comment made by an atheist who visited a video that I posted last week. In this video I challenge all atheists to give me their best explanation for their particular atheism and state that I can refute all of their arguments against the idea that God does not exist.

In this brief exchange, you will be able to observe, that the thinking process of the atheist is always lacking in reality. The very comments that this person made to me, are exactly what he and every other atheists does each time they seek to argue that God does not exist.

  1. The possibility of resurrection is a delusion. Everything dies. Humans are not a special species that has been given protection against eternal death. Since there is no possibility of the realization of this dream, there is no need for God or Heaven. Delusion abounds! GROG

    • Thank you for your comments. I appreciate your opinion in this matter.

Unfortunately, you are misinformed. I have spend the past 44 years researching the actual evidence for the resurrection and I know that it is a historical certainty.

I encounter this problem with many atheists; their gross lack of knowledge in facts they assert. I think the problem is that many of you only read the opinions of other atheists but not the facts from the other side of the issue. This is to be expected as human nature is to believe things we want to believe, but rarely do we search for evidence in anything that would contradict our ideals.

I began as one who never went to church, and knew nothing about God or religion. I spent many years researching both sides of the issue for God’s existence, before the evidence led me to conclude that He must exist. If at any time in the past 44 years I had ever found evidence that would lead me to believe that God does not exist, nor that Jesus died and rose from the dead, I would not believe these facts today.

      • It doesn’t matter how old or smart a person is, they will still die, forever. If you believe you will come alive again after death, you are deluded, I say. Everything dies and if you believe otherwise you have been scammed.

      • Those Who Never Die:

So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been dead in the tomb four days. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”

Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” ~John 11:17-27

And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves ~Ezekiel 37:13

  2. Grogalot you said : The possibility of resurrection is a delusion. Everything dies. Humans are not a special species that has been given protection against eternal death. Since there is no possibility of the realization of this dream, there is no need for God or Heaven. Delusion abounds! GROG

I say: I agree everything does die that is flesh. We as humans in the flesh are not given protection against this. However, our spirit and soul is given this protection if we believe in Christ. You see the results of wind but you cannot see the wind. Faith tells you that the wind is there. So my faith in Christ also tells me he is there for my soul and my spirit when my human flesh dies. He will give me a new body upon his second coming. Your human flesh body came about once also, wouldn’t you want another one some day that is free from this sinful world ? As a choice you can choose (1) the world as you see it now filled with hate and despair or (2) one that is free from all the trouble we see in the world now. If I am going to choose why not take the second, seems to me that would be the better choice.

  3. You don’t know a damned thing about atheists.
