The 7 Nations Of The Beast Are In Place: What Comes Next?

The prophet Daniel was given a glimpse into the final kingdoms of this world and told the precise day that Messiah would arrive. In Daniel 7 the story of the last days in its finality is told by the appearance of four nations, or world-wide empires.

The first kingdom is Nebuchadnezzar of the Babylonians, next is Cyrus of the Persians, followed by Alexander the Great of the Greeks. The final and fourth kingdom is that of Jesus Christ, called for the first time in Daniel 7, “The Son of Man.” Jesus referred to Himself several times in the Gospels as the Son of Man, allowing us to understand that He is claiming to be the Messiah whom Daniel predicted.[2]

In Daniel’s vision of chapter 7, the Ancient of Days, the Lord Jesus Christ as the Messiah, will arrive during the time of the fourth kingdom of the antichrist, ruled by the beast.

This beast will come to power in the last days out of the world’s most powerful financial and military nation. He will lead during a time of seven nations (G7) and rule over the financial and, eventual, military might of these seven nations.

The current G7 was the former G10 [1]. According to Daniel’s prophecy in chapter 7, as the world approaches the finality of these days in which the beast will rule for seven years and Christ will return at the end of these seven years. Daniel writes that the 10 nations will become 7 nations just prior to the beginning of the fourth kingdom of the beast.

Current Events And The Time Of The End

From the perspective of Jesus’ church, we have watched as the world has moved towards these seven nations, which are now present, by the current meeting of the G7. At the head of these nations is President Donald Trump. He is hailed by the Jews as a sort of Savior. Last week Trump was speaking to reporters and turned to look up at heaven and said, “I am the anointed one.” This is how many Jews now see Trump today, as he has moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and has bestowed special favor upon Israel and the Jewish People.

When the beast arrives, he will be seen by the Jewish nation as the Messiah, either figuratively or literally, we don’t know. A coin was minted by Israel recently where the image of Cyrus and Trump appear side-by-side. King Cyrus was called “the anointed one” by God as He chose him as the one who would make possible, the return of the Jews back to their land after being held captive by Nebuchadnezzar for 70 years. It is clear by Trump’s statement that he is the “anointed one,” that He considers himself the second Cyrus for the Jews. It is interesting that when the beast arrives, he will believe that he is also “the anointed one.”

This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: “The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth.” ~Ezra 1:2

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear. ~Isaiah 45:1

This is important to our understanding of the events of the last days as it defines Trump as a sort of savior or anointed one, for the Jewish people. It is interesting that Trump also sees himself as empowered by God over many nations and kings.

Of course, we who study Bible prophecy understand that Trump or whoever will be the true antichrist, will not be a savior for the Jewish people. That Savior has already come, His name is Jesus. On April 10, 32 A.D., Jesus rode into Jerusalem and was proclaimed the Messiah, the Son of David. During His entire three and one-half years on earth, Jesus completed all 400 of the Messianic Prophecies required for the Messiah.

The Prophecy Of Daniel 9 And The Arrival Of Messiah

Jesus arrived on this precise date, in fulfillment of Daniel 9, after 483 years, a date that I have documented in my books “Prophecies of the Messiah,” and “These Things Were Written.”

Whether Donald Trump is the antichrist and we are about to enter the seven year Tribulation, preceded by the Rapture of Jesus’ church, I don’t know for certain and no one else could possible know this either. We cannot set a date for the Rapture or the Tribulation, because we will not really know these events have happened until they have already happened. Jesus wanted it this way. He wanted His church to live in expectation of His return at any moment—through every generation since His death and resurrection. If we really believe that Jesus is coming again at any moment, it will drastically affect how we live our lives. Those who believe that Jesus could come at any time, will be seeking to live a life of purity without sin, as much as possible—not living for this world, but for the coming of their Savior (1 John 3:2-3).

Unfortunately today, the world does not expect the arrival of Jesus, nor the coming of the seven year Tribulation. Very few people accept that these things could happen, increasing numbers today doubt even the existence of God. The Bible predicted that before Jesus comes again for His church and the beast arrives during the seven year Tribulation, the world will suffer from a severe lack of faith. Jesus asked if He would even find faith when He returned (Luke 18:8).

Paul wrote that in the last days, believers would be lovers of self, focussed on this world and their lives, and many would be caught unaware by the arrival of Jesus (2 Timothy 3:1-4). Every prophecy that must be fulfilled before Jesus returns, has already taken place. The nation of Israel is once again a reality. The European nations under the current G7 since Russian has been removed, is now in the precise state that Daniel 7 describes for the commencement of the seven year peace plan described by Daniel 9, and the return of Christ for His church.

Why will Jesus come for His church before the Great Tribulation? First, the seven years are a time when God will turn His attention from the world at large and this current period of Grace. Between the fourth Feast of Israel, Pentecost, and the fifth, Trumpets, is the Harvest period when anyone on earth today can trust in Christ and be saved.

The Prophetic Fulfillment of the Seven Feasts of Israel by Jesus

When this time of Grace that God has allowed is concluded, God will once again look to the Jews and the nation of Israel in these last seven years and save the Jews who will recognize Jesus as the True Messiah during that time. When this Harvest period is over, so also is the time of Jesus’ church on earth. He will come for us and begin the time of wrath described by the Book of Revelation, chapters 6-18.

Does The Bible Teach a Rapture Before the Tribulation?

Incredible That Russia Is No Longer A Part Of The G8

Russia with Iran, and other nations will come down from the north to attack Israel during these seven years and God will supernaturally destroy these invading armies. This will signal to the Jews that what Jesus said about these days in Matthew 24 and 25, has happened just as He said. God will protect the Jews from this invading force and this will be their sign that Jesus is Messiah.[3]

The antichrist will be furious and turn to attack the Jews, who will flee the wilderness area, most likely, Petra. God will protect the Jew during the last three and one-half years of the Great Tribulation.[3]

May 14, 2018, The 70th Year Of Israel’s Return: A Date Of Extreme Prophetic Significance

At the end of the seven years, on the precise day, Jesus will descend from Heaven with His church that has been with Him during the past seven years. He will descend upon the Mount of Olives, and according to Zechariah, the mountain will split in two. Zechariah describes the reaction of the Jews who see this event as “mourning for an only Son whom they had pierced.”[4]

Jesus will go from the Mount of Olives to the Valley of Megiddo where the antichrist will have assembled the armies of the world under his command, to fight the returning Christ. Jesus will simply speak and these armies will be destroyed in a bloody carnage that will fill this valley with blood for a distance of 200 miles.

The Battle of Armageddon

Jesus will then begin the one thousand year kingdom promised to David, as his descendent, Jesus the Messiah, who will establish perfect peace and righteousness upon the earth. At the end of the one thousand years, Jesus will judge all those who have rejected Him, along with the beast and his followers. They will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Jesus will melt the universe with a great heat described by Peter, and create a new heaven and earth where only those who love Jesus and have obeyed His command to turn from their sins and receive Him, will live forever.[5]

There will be no more sin, sickness, suffering or death. Everyone will live in a perfect world as God originally intended—without sin or the devil to ruin what God created. This has been the plan of God from before He made the universe and placed human beings on the earth. From the look of the current world, we may be on the precipice of the finality of these events.

Turn to Christ now and receive the forgiveness of your sins. We may not have much more time.

This brief article is a synopsis of several of my books which describe the Prophecies Jesus fulfilled, the Rapture of the Church, and the seven year Tribulation. You can find by books on these subjects at the “Books” section of this web site.

2.The Prophecy of Daniel 7: “Earlier, during the first year of King Belshazzar’s reign in Babylon, Daniel had a dream and saw visions as he lay in his bed. He wrote down the dream, and this is what he saw. In my vision that night, I, Daniel, saw a great storm churning the surface of a great sea, with strong winds blowing from every direction. Then four huge beasts came up out of the water, each different from the others. The first beast was like a lion with eagles’ wings. As I watched, its wings were pulled off, and it was left standing with its two hind feet on the ground, like a human being. And it was given a human mind. Then I saw a second beast, and it looked like a bear. It was rearing up on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And I heard a voice saying to it, “Get up! Devour the flesh of many people!” Then the third of these strange beasts appeared, and it looked like a leopard. It had four bird’s wings on its back, and it had four heads. Great authority was given to this beast. Then in my vision that night, I saw a fourth beast—terrifying, dreadful, and very strong. It devoured and crushed its victims with huge iron teeth and trampled their remains beneath its feet. It was different from any of the other beasts, and it had ten horns. As I was looking at the horns, suddenly another small horn appeared among them. Three of the first horns were torn out by the roots to make room for it. This little horn had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that was boasting arrogantly.  I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire, and a river of fire was pouring out, flowing from his presence. Millions of angels ministered to him; many millions stood to attend him. Then the court began its session, and the books were opened. I continued to watch because I could hear the little horn’s boastful speech. I kept watching until the fourth beast was killed and its body was destroyed by fire. The other three beasts had their authority taken from them, but they were allowed to live a while longer. As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.” ~Daniel 7:1-14 (NLT)

Revelation 20:1-3
(NKJV) 1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
Revelation 20:11-15 (NKJV) 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:1-4 (NKJV) 1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
